  1. ^^^^^ What he said. Gotta love the garage lols. You'll laugh about it in a few months. Bit of a pain getting them in but doable.
  2. Nah, "essential" Has the ladder bars and all. Even a toolbox lol. There's a few silly cars that the blokes onsite are driving, modded XR5s, 35"+ patrols and some, no one's had an issue "getting to and from work" lol. Might even strap a ladder on it to be safe hahah.
  3. Am keen Clutch soon Skids later Friggin covid has the clutch shop slowed up massively, aint doing another driveway install. A twin plate ceramic something or other coming soon.
  4. Techocomputermaximumhaxxor guys,@k31th & @bloodycrashboy As much as I'd like to build a gaming pc again (Been 6 years, fuark that's ages) I genuily CBF and won't use it more than once a week/fortnight. So what's a decent laptop under $3k? No Macs, they're ghey. May use it for the odd shooting things game, not much else bar work sh*t that no one wants to do, emails etc. Who knows, maybe I'll become a mad car park tuna fish like @JETURBO
  5. K31th banging out posts one after another. At least the threads still ticking along I guess. Anyone watching "Fasterproms" channel on YouTube? It's the tune shop of "Cleetus Mcfarland". Some interesting and amusing videos of a Honda swapped smart car build going up at the moment. Turbskis, cage and all. Now back to the beers.
  6. Mad keen@camo86T I'm with you@JETURBO @Rab, Jeebus, I want what your smoking mate, LOL.
  7. As much as I'd like to agree exhaust shops charge a heap lately, especially with anything not an OEM replacement kinda job. That's how Sydney has been the last few years anyway, unless you know someone. Knowing someone cheap and good, good luck lol.
  8. Unless e85 k31th. You know that mate. PS@k31th Fix the F6 plz mate. Dooooo it.
  9. Give CMS a call and ask them what they use. Might cost a bit more but Joe will have the tuning data and it'll save you hours on the dyno. As for the fuel fittings you don't really need tools for them, they're just a bit fùcky to get apart. Not a major pita.
  10. Boss bonnet looks so much better than the standard bonnet I reckon. Only let down is the glare that gets thrown back right in your eyes occasionally in the arvos.
  11. Auto will sound decent if you driving it hard but cruising can be pretty average with a louder exhaust. Especially without turbo noises. It's not like the barra is a great sounding engine in factory form, cams and turbo make it decent though.
  12. Wow You pelicans can jibber That's a proper job there, lockdown has kicked in when forum gets going like that. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  13. Working mate. "Essential"
  14. If it's auto don't bother, will be droney af. Not worth the extra volume. Sick as but bruh. If it helps though, cops will always be aiming for p platers. Don't drive like a numpty and have a good respectful attitude if you ever pulled over and you'll get away with a bit.
  15. Good evening all, mein füherhampsterheinzeig.
  16. Have done that. Worked well but falls out after a few months. My Ute has zero angle on the uni joint so I doubt it'll vibrate, hasn't before.
  17. Does anyone know if a solid or poly fixed center bearing carrier/mount is available? My neighbours utes CB flogged out so naturally had a look under my Ute and it's already looking tired with f all I'm on it. The stiff shocks and heavier built shaft probably add to the problem.
  18. Youd want at least a 25mm internal hose for it. But I think it's more to do with the design of the BOV. Factory/bosche units have all rubber/plastic seats that seem to smoothly open and close. Any aftermarket valve has a metal piston and I think it's the sharper edges of the piston that adds to the noise alot as it opens more abruptly. Once upon a time I went from stock to a turbosmart direct fit (25mm). Massive noise increase and it was plumbed back with a process west kit. Now I've got 2 50mm turbosmart race ports (Because race yoot). At cruising speeds and light backing off the throttle it's quieter than the 25mm. Full throttle and back off quickly and it's a different story. I know it was ages ago but there was a guy on here (kruzin I think) who used two stock BOVs with good results.
  19. For a sedan I'd be going with a built shaft, Gibson do a good steel one or there's a few carbon fiber options out there. Either a true track or if you want a proper center I'd go a KAAZ 2 way. Definately get an Independant Motorsports twin bush diff hat set up. Then if you can stretch the $$ get a set of driveshaft shop axles or of you can't go that far repco axles are a step up from factory. If it's a yoot put a decent tailshaft in it and a diff center. Then add a set of caltracs or mal wood tramp rods.
  20. Hit up RPM transmissions then. They'll build a tough TR6060 or magnum. Will cost a fair bit but they're well respected and make alot of custom parts for the box. Cleetus uses them for Leeroy. Cool car that one.
  21. Clutch packs Other things More other things. Ford rated them at different torque limits for a reason mate. There's a few threads floating around here.
  22. @k31th Mate your having a shocker today. NA boxes are different to turbo, wether it is manual or turbo they do differ.
  23. I like the idea but if it genuinely does make 1000+ you'd want to be looking at something tougher than a magnum. As good as they are they aren't designed nor built to handle that. It'll probably last a year or two of weekend duties but if you want to hammer it I'd be looking at something else.
  24. Curious if you fellas went with PayPal if you purchased the goods online? You'd have a good chance of money back of you went that way. Not hard to set up a buyers dispute.
  25. Gold bro hahahaha
