  1. 100mm lowest point is only 1 aspect they can defect/void your warranty on. The other is your suspension must not be lowered more than 1/3 its travel distance from standard. That means alot of you sitting on 100mm can have your insurance voided and your car defected as its not ADR compliant. I dont know about you guys, but I would dread that day my insurance was voided for something like suspension travel.. 50k out of pocket + all that insurance money you pay each year down the drain..
  2. that 'Blitz Bonnet' looks awsome!
  3. Wanli are great as door stops.. Even then I think a wind might beable to slide them across the ground closing your doors. Grip.. pfft what grip..
  4. This man speaks the truth. No matter what badge is on there, its still a Ford Falcon.. And quality is certainly not a factor in the Falcons (body's) design..

    Man Cream

I found when I used that Nivea stuff it was real nice.. But when I stopped using it my skin would dry worse than when I didnt use it. I only use it every so often as I dont really need it. To all you other neanderthals, once youve learned to walk and talk, come out of your cave and into the 21st century..
  6. Whose gonna fork out an extra $60 for a dyno run on a a $200 mod? Your gains will be minimal, if any at all.
  7. So gay, so tryhard. Go with Blonk..
  8. Are you sure? $47k Later and im still not sure whether my car was made here in Australia or in China...
  9. Replacing a middle muffler with straight through is illegal. You must replace it with either another middle muffler or hotdogs. As for 10 - 15kw.. tell him hes dreaming.. Anyone can fudge a dyno to make a mod look good.
  10. My car has had its fair share of issues.. BUT Ford and the Dealership has fixed every one of them.. My car now runs perfectly (like it should have come from factory) If its that much of a drama for you, trade it in and buy yourself something Japanese or European because you arent going to find Quality in the Ford and Expensive Daewoo camp unless its imported.
  11. If you want to listen to music then why get your middle muffler removed and replaced? Hotdogs - fine Straight through - drone
  12. Well if you have kids or friends in the back they are sure to get themselves a nice headache over 260km's Its alot worse sitting in the back than in the front. - Maybe im just fussy though. - Go the hotdogs.
  13. Same. (I miss my old Magna VRX) I know for certain what my next car wont be.. I love my car, but I dont want the problems associated with it in my next vehicle. Good to hear Mitsu are still plugging along though.
  14. You most definitely keep the rear muffler. You can replace the centre section with either straight through pipes or twin hot dogs. Some people have reported droning when using straight through pipes, but many others have been happy with the end result. ← Straight through there is a definite drone. Get some hotdogs.. Certainly worth it if you do road trips quite often and only want to hear a nice bark when accelerating.
  15. Hi Steve, This might be a little premature.. But are there any plans to make your way down to Melbourne? I would be very interested in this RDP software..
  16. *wishes he lived in Perth so he could be the donor car* Please please please make a nice one.. Dual guages would be awsome. When you have completed them, send me a PM.. Ive been looking for one for ages..
  17. Did you notice most people here say it looks silly, not because its a single monster guage but because it doesnt suit the placement, the look and the garish way it has been mounted to your centre console.. To me your guage looks like its been done the cheap and nasty way.. Drill a hole, bolt it on and voila.. Instant No Frill's tacky guage display.. I agree with you that people get shot down for doing things like other car owners, but in this case its pretty justified. Unless you plan to do some custom moulding/fabrication it will continue to look crap. Why dont you look around for a cheap A-pillar guage holder (that fits your guages) and butcher one so you can create a nice enclosure for the centre console area? Personally, I plan to go with the A-pillar guage holder. (rice blah blah whatever)
  18. umm.. not to call you a liar or anything.. But who waits 4 months if 7G's worth of stereo is stolen.. Why didnt you go see them? Why didnt you get onto the Manager of the call centre?
  19. I think your judgement of 'good' was made in error.. 'not good' or 'ugly' should replace your initial thought..
  20. Looks nice.
  21. where can you get these made as I'd like the springs to be a bit lower than sl/ssl?? cheers ← http://kmac.3x3design.com/cms/ Located in Sydney. I have a few mates who have had springs custom made from these guys. They do a great job!
  22. Whats a gemini got to do with getting lower springs? - O that's right, it was a half thought up attempt to sound funny right? You do realise you can get custom made springs (from Kmac) to any height, spring rate and setting you like for about $50 more than KingSprings?
  23. This is what it looks like with 17's and SL and SSL If you are looking at getting 19's though (or larger rims) wait untill you get the rims and tyres before lowering it. See below pic for 19's with same springs. The car has raised itself about an inch. (notice the height difference along the sideskirts) Im going to get custom springs made up to lower it again.
  24. Learn to read and comprehend a structured thread. Its amazing how things come together when you know how to do this..
  25. Ralliart 380 - 230kw.. 14.0 1/4 mile and 0-100 and 6.0secs.. Watch out stock XR6T's.. rofl
