Sure is. Stickers.. lots and lots of stickers... Also, neons.. I hear these can produce crazy amounts of hp! The secret is, Ford dont know that these mods produce power.. If you ask any Honda Civic, Hyundai Excel or general ricer they all claim their cars are alot quicker after these simple things are added..

Probably the copious amounts of plastic hanging off it? I think the front bumper is actually lower than the standard XR6T.

You NA guys should organise a drag day with the Aussie Magna Club in your respective state. Most of those guys are pulling sub 14's with mild mods (exhaust, filter etc etc) They range from 13.8's to 15.5's Would be interesting and put a few old myths to bed..

hehe yeah. I got in at 4.30pm - We were going to head straight back to Melbourne after the Apollo Bay lunch anyhow. (we had to meet some friends at 6.30) The twisties are my favourite kind of drive. You actually get to use the power of the XR6T. I came across a Hilux that was given the twisties a bit of a thrashing (was quite suprised!) Here's my pics.. Not really any group shots as the only place I took a pic of all the cars was at the Shell Servo! (after Red Rooster there was no stops -for me- till Apollo Bay)

Thanks for organising the cruise Gary! All the slow bumper to bumper highway driving was a bitch to much for me. Once we hit the twisties I had to jump ahead - My girlfriend wasnt comfortable sitting behind the lead car as we dont really know how most of you guys drive. We went all the way to Apollo and got ourselves an icecream. We saw you guys drive through about 30 mins after we arrived.. (We were waiting at Georges) But alas you guys must have kept going (pretty hard to find a spot to park in Apollo Bay).. It was all good though as we headed off to Lorne and back through to Melbourne down the rest of the GoR. I took a couple of pics - will post em tomorrow. Thanks anyhow for organising the day. Its totally up to you.. There should be enough breaks along the way to chat/take a breather etc etc. Ill be bringing along my partner (she comes along to any twisty cruises I go on) Plus we love the Otways

Door trim has to come off to get to 1 of the screws. Its an easy job, just gotta make sure you get all the screws off the door skin.

I would say the speedo has been changed. Alot of those cars were doing 180 - 220km/h on winding stretches of road and quite a few were clapped out bombs..

Highly debatable. If your company is paying, id got with a new SS or a european luxo.. While the Falcon is nice, its anything but quality..

Yeah freeway is fine.. its the twisties.. (which is the only thing im interested in) where rolling boredom sets in. The last GOR cruise I went on this happened.. There was 50 odd cars and the twisties were full of Snoredom.. Myself and my mates ended up just by passing the next stop area so we could actually stretch the legs of our cars.. Doesnt matter anyhow, im still coming. Just wanted to know how many extras are coming..

Yep, exactly the same. It seems these rims are the new 'in' rim to buy See them all over the place.. Falcons, Commo's, Magna's.. Looks good on all 3 types of cars. P.S Get rid of the wing.

Fark. Camber kit costs $75 - that's some huge labour costs!

Wheel alignment - what sort of wheel alignment did you get? Did you get the print out to show what they changed in terms of camber/toe? Id look at another wheel alignment from a specialist suspension place (that use 4 wheel digital aligning) Also, check your 17's are running about 36PSI (unloaded) and 38PSI (loaded) 19's should be running 44PSI. Outside wear can be caused by under inflated tyres or toe in or in extreme cases negative camber. If you car has been in an accident (front end) you could have a slightly bent control arm (hard to see with the naked eye) In most cases, the rear is the worst for inside tyre wear after its been lowered.. To fix this you can get yourself a camber kit. Perhaps your front end needs a castor/camber kit installed.. Quite cheap to buy - installation cost is subjective to the installer though. Hope this helps.

Yes and if you read my post again you will see I said $210 for the springs + 1 hour of labor. I also said, seeing as the guy is getting springs + shocks the price to install should be inclusive (as in a package) not individual install prices for each item. You dont install the shocks and springs separently do you? As a package its a drop in drop out operation which takes at the most an hour to do. If you guys think paying a couple hundred for an hours work is fine. Pay it! lol All the prices I quoted are the standard price to buy the items without someone fitting them. If you guys think paying $100's more for someone to spend at the most 2 hours on your car is justified, by all means pay it!

huh!? Try $210 for a set of King Springs + 1 hour to fit (if using existing shocks) As the guy is getting new springs AND shocks the cost to install should be inclusive for both. I cant say how much Bilstein shocks are but judging on this guys other prices its way to much! What sort of swaybars are you getting? Whiteline front swaybar is only $149.. The rear is $171... (heavy duty) Id say he saw the FPV badge on your falcoon and decided to charge accordingly..

Exactly.. And knowing how fussy Ford are.. Ill spend the extra $100 - $150 on a service.. After all $100 is peanuts these days..
