The is a great time in your climate with the setup of the car, having done many runs myself, you know in your gut if the car has anything left in it. Rightly or wrongly Ford claim that the underdrive pulleys create a harmonic imbalance causing the pump gears to fail. Reading the forums certainly seems to back that up with the number of standard motors without underdrive pullys breaking pump gears is minimal compared to cars that have them fitted. Because you replaced the standard pullys that were not faulty with non genuine items they will not supply or fit hardend gears for you under warranty because you made the change to the car that can effect the pump gears. If you do book it in for a service and they spot the underdrives then if the pump gears do fail, they more than likely will hand you that $20k bill for any replacement engine. IMHO in a boss motor, if you change to underdrives, just do the pump gears as part of the upgrade, it's not worth the risk.

Mobil does direct pay at the pump via credit card here in Victoria but you cant use any fleet cards and still have to go in and pay for that

Has it been noisey, sounds like the planetary gears are gone and a piece is jamming the gear set and stopping it from moving. It has happend to me and a couple of others on the forum. If it is the planetary gears the box will more than likely need a rebuild while it is apart + the planetary set replaced, a couple of grand + change was roughly the cost. I hope it all goes well.

I had an intermittant problem like that a fair while ago. Ford said it was either a dirty throttlebody or something to do with the cam phasers? Anyway they fixed it and it was fine. If the problem was in the edit would it not be consistantly there all of the time when at idle?
