The RS4 is only $65K in the US I'd still have to supercharge it though, as it's not that fast Geez we get get shafted. Oh and the awesome new BMW 335i twin turbo which is a BS $111K here is a mere $42K in the US, less than an XR6T here. What's the buzz on the ls1 forum; I'll bet they're in denial. Good to see that the SS still has pure sh*te brakes. An 1800kg car with 6l V8 and they still offer criminally poor brakes. ← what and the standard brakes on xr6t are good?
  3. hi guys,I was about to strengthen my bottom end but someone told me that f6 bottom end is good for 350rwkw.is this true, and has anyone with a f6 had there rod bend or shi*# itself? if so at what rwkw did it fail at. im asking this cause I dont wanna spend the money if my bottom end can handle that much power.I am currently running at 330rwkw,running about 17psi of boost tapering down to 12 psi. I havent done actuator yet and f6 valve spring is still holding good.
  4. isnt putting washers on the bonnet same as removing the back rubber seal? you are playing with that high pressure void under the hood?
  5. I have a brand new one that had only done 1,500kms.wanting $500 call me on 0412 398 883
  6. can you explain how to set up the exhaust with twin cats?
  7. tell me,how can you do that if you have changed to bigger injectors
  8. thanks for that info f6 ute. I currently have the hybrid I/c with plazmaman plumbing.do you think the bottom end will handle 360-380rwkw? cause my tuner/installer told me im nearly on the edge with my current power,so that's why I wanted to put a new bottom end. I have 320rwkw at the moment with the above plus 42pound drilled injectors,powerstat,k&n,3.5"dump,3.5"metal cat,and remus cat back system, ultra shocks f&r, with custom tune running 17pounds down low and tapering down to 12pounds.
  9. hi everyone, just wondering,im about to get the atomic bottom end with atomic cams and valve springs, bosch 5 bar fuel pump.what size injectors do I need to get. I am aiming for about 380-400rwkw.mine is a bf f6 tornado zf 6 speed.also with that amont of power will the diff and rear axels handle that much power and torque? thanks everyone, looking forward to replies.
  10. Are we talking ZF as well here.....will I be the first one in the f*ckn world to ever need to take one apart ← im in the same boat as you shocks,I need to do my zf.but nobody knows where to start.
  11. so then youngy, once its run in, it doesnt rattle anymore or does it rattle less?
  12. then why is it then, that nizpros bottom end dont rattle? is it that "you get what you pay for?" "you pay peanuts, you get monkeys?"
  13. And I have no doubt that it will I am not questioning the durability or strength of any of the products discussed, they are no doubt designed for racing applications, and will provide a near bullet proof engine. All I am saying (and I wish that I had known before venturing out into my engine mods.) is that these engines may be too noisy for some, and anyoine thinking about doing this, should make an informed decision before jumping in :3some: ← nika, are these atomic engines balanced and blueprinted? if yes they shouldnt rattle.rattle usually means that the clearances are not right.correct me if im wrong.
  14. has anyone installed atomic bottom end(short motor) to their xr6 or phoon? what do you guys think about it? I also heard that they are noisy (rattles) what are your recommendations?
  15. matt how do you take the switches off? I am interested.
