Everyone has some good ideas I think one of the most important things is personal goals work out what your trying to achieve bigger arms heavy bench etc and work towards the goal and once achieved set it abit higher etc. Bodybuilding is very boring and takes years to get anywhere so if your looking for fast results and just being ripped I would just do mma or boxing or something like that high cardio and fitness and just cross train some weights you will get better results faster this way I think. You should just put the stock airbox back on and drive it back and say you took in to another mechanic and they said the airbox was stock so you dont know what their talking about lol. I would make them do it because they probably get discounted labour for doing warranty work lol so in away its annoying for them.

It seems to me your actually confused on what your actually trying to achieve, I would say whats happened is you have gone in for a tune only on stock injectors and he has wound it up and maxed everything out as much as possible boost, injectors etc And sounds to me what your really after is the most possible power with stock injectors and boost which is 100% reliable even if that means having less boost and theirfor less power seeing as its only been tuned I would explain to him that u want above and to make whatever tune changes are needed to achieve this and just drive it around as is.

Hey mate $322 for a pair of engine mounts is about right even after market ones are going to be $110-120 each for kelpro brand etc just be aware sometimes after market ones are softer then genuine if u want the kelpro ones goto bursons or repco etc if u want the cheaper type. Hope this helps mate.

Just to put things into perspective when I had my VT clubsport 5.7L 6 speed 4.11's tuned etc around town I was averaging about 24-26L per 100km that was worked out from how much petrol refilled plus the trip meter reset but it could also get the best was 8.7l to 9.6L/100km on the highway. Since ive had the BA Turbo Auto I easily beat that around town at a guess id say 20L/100km around town and 11L to 12L/100km on the highway I thought this really wasnt to bad considering the auto.

Just buy some standard or lowered leaf springs for the back and get rid of the lowering block's

Im pretty sure someone had this exact same problem recently and it was because of voltage drop of using to small a wiring I think then used 0 guage to fix the issue its probably either that or an earth problem. If u have long enough jumper leads id try running one from negative on the battery in its current spot to the orginal negative lead and try that if it works fine then its a earthing issue and u may have to move the earth for the battery, and if its doesnt its probably needs bigger wiring to the battery.

I don't remeber saying the led bezels emitted light mate only that they where used at night time, their is a big difference in picture quality and warranty between cheap cameras and good quality ones, even brought new from a reputable place a decent reverse camera wont set you back over $200-$250 with the infared etc the moneys in the camera.

I think we should keep this on topic, not make it a whos got the biggest pair their is a huge difference in camera quality the more u spend the better the picture quality also things like led bezel around the camera etc for night time makes the cameras cost more.

Seems like a sweet setup you can also get flush mount cameras etc if u needed to mount it to the middle. For reversing sensors id get something from Command used to sell heaps of that gear never had much issues and when did warranty was fast found this kit on ebay which is probably what id go but for people going this please color code the sensors look bad standard colour. Why don't you if your concerned book in into the mechanics to be looked over and run up on the dyno rather then chasing your tail around trying to find a problem that may or may not be their.

Hi mate, I had a chat with another friend who's into all the photo stuff he said 18-55/55-250 would be fine to start off with and use Lightroom for the software he said you should use these lens because it lets you experience a wide focal range so you can pick what you like the best then tailor your lens purchases around that. Good try at the intercooler and piping etc but I think if you can lift the cooler up abit more then run the piping underneath and weld the bottom pipe into one piece similiar to the Blitz factory kit on a skyline would work well and not look too bad. something like below but backwards.

I thought id add this in here as its relevant does anyone know of a company that does replacement stock piping in metal replacing the factory stuff but leaving the crossover in its standard position as I think alot of people would like this option to keep everything looking factory.

The best qoute I got from Ford was $360 for the set with abit of arm twisting so hope this helps.

Hi mate heli-coil could be an option but a timesert would be better if you go down the route theirs no issue with repairing using these methods provided the guy who does it does it properly it is susposed to be stronger then new as the timersert is stronger metal. So just look up timeserts you could even do it yourself if your handy.

I was chatting to a guy who does rwc the other day and from my understanding it would be more specific as in if it fails for an oil leak etc they would photograph a before and after to make sure the change has been done or tyres have been changed etc. I'm presuming under normal rwc conditions would just be pictures of tyres,brakes maybe one under and one over and they where just kept on file not sent to vicroads unless requested. Normally you would only get sent for an emissions test by Police when their out with their db meters etc and find changes to the orginal equipment on the vehicle,bigger turbo major noticeable changes etc.
