Just be aware its actually Nizpro that offer the warranty on the motor and turbo, not Capa. Capa supply the flash boxes to HPF and Nizpro.

Guys just reading this thread, I'm a little confused what the surprise is about with motors blowing up (350+rwkw) with / without the Nizpro plenum involved with standard internals. Personally I think its one of best kits on the market, and Simon's design wasnt born yesterday. The design has been and is still currently used in some of the fastest VL turbos / Skylines etc in the country, so the straight though front throttle body system has been going for so many years now. For the psi vs power output I havent really seen anything dramatically better. However Nizpro has always stated that their stage 2 kit properly tuned the max they are willing to go is 340rwkw, anything over this (with standard XR6T motor internals) its a timebomb. Thought I'll add my 2 c

You'll have the same version that I have, no stalling but I do have the ticking boost solenoid. There is a new version now, that has all the problems fixed, including TC, but also has full control to all parameters now. Have a chat to Simon about this... Peter

Yeh I know and they want over $8,000 for a circa 300rwkw stage 2 package that doesn't include an exhaust. Point being the same result is being safely achieved by others for half that. A little more than 300rwkw, the stage 2 (with edit) makes the power so easily but because of the stock rods, more like Simon is turning down the power to 330-340rwkw at around 13psi, with a stock exhaust.

Night after I had my stage 1 done, driving back to the Melbourne apartments, wife was asleep in the passenger seat, along comes a wrx with "PLANE-1" plates, stopped beside me at the intersection. The game was played at 2 intersections, and I finished it each time....

The typhoon is an excellent base to start modding... To give an example, Nizpro's stage-2 kit gives you around 330-340rwkw on standard XR6T. With the same kit on a typhoon, Simon has managed to crank them up to 430 - 450rwkw, but for safety has backed it off to around 400rwkw, now that's I'm just waiting for Xtreme to see how far they go....
