What did you replace the factory injectors with? Make sure your tps is plugged bag in and the throttle control plug also plugged in.

If you are going to pay $1200 for a heap of sh*t FORD diff better off saving another 600-800 and have a truTrack fitted to the G6e, much better option if you are already spending the money !

to get a nice boost curve,Controlling boost via the port enlargement and flapper mod is recommended along with a stronger waste-gate actuator to hold boost in the top end. I had problems as soon as I did the dump pipe on my FG boost spiking like a mofo and unable to hold boost in the top end. Its cheap insurance, better to do it all now and be happy with the results than be annoyed you didnt do it after the fact.

What turbo did you end up going? Can't go wrong with Plazmaman or Processwest gear for fuel systems ID injectors are the business, love mine ! little pricey but you do get what you pay for.

I think avgas still contains lead and is bad for catalytic converters, correct me if I am wrong. Avgas will perform well and is not corrosive like E85 can be. I think HP-F did a review on fuels not sure if Avgas was tested, but from the old racing days if you weren't running methanol you were running avgas so it must be better than 98, how much? I dunno.: according to Shell "The Lean Mixture rating is 100 octane (15 octane higher than the comparable 85 MON for unleaded Mogas) but Avgas also has a Rich Mixture rating of 130 which allows higher supercharger boost pressures to be used without detonation occurring. got a set in my FG, cannot complain, plenty of space to run E85 and are tuneable down to great idle. +1 on the ebay injector adaptors I paid something around that mark $3-5 per adapter.Buy Phantom 6's injectors that's cheap for a set of ID1000's genuine !!

I have the ID1000's and I am using the Process West Twin entry rail and FPR1200 turbosmart Fuel Pressure Regulator, bolts straight on to the factory mounts. Im pretty sure the ID2000 will slot into the same rail.

I'm playing with 400RWKW at the moment and mine has not broken yet.... it will be the next thing to break I'm sure. If you go to the strip it will almost certainly break with a hard launch and some grip. I am looking at a chrome moly one from Malwood, but haven't got the motivation (ie broken tailshaft) to get it sorted as yet.

E85 uses approximately 35% more fuel for the same bang as 98RON pump fuel, you will need most likely bigger injectors and a retune, do not run it without a tune or you will do damage. Depending on where you buy it from it can get up to 2.50 a litre for Sucrogen.

lucky for you, Ford wouldn't touch my diff or driveline lash/noises, now with 24,000kms and no warranty left on the driveline I have no option but to stick a truetrac in it and get a proper driveshaft, the factory lsd whines, single wheels and generally a pain in the ass. 5Diff's is bullsh*t /endrant

I paid less than that for a custom GTX turbo, GCG is a rort, check out Procharge, Ben is the man, give him a ring you wont be disapointed.

Mate I bought the stage V GTX3582R "cheetah" turbo from them, ring ben or email him, he knows his sh*t and gets things done very quickly and will not give you any BS. I made 400KW at the tyres with that turbo (and supporting mods) and its good for ALOT more boost than that, spools basically like the factory FG turbo but hits harder for alot longer. Speak to Ben definately he will steer you in the right direction. PM me if you want more info, but I cannot speak highly enough of Procharge, excellent customer service and a top show all round.

That would be epic to drive, massive difference between flex and Sucro fuel, what size drum did you buy of the sucro? Excellent results, how responsive is the turbo considering its size?

recently updated my car and did some mods, fuel econ went from 12-13l/100 to 15.2l/100 no highway just twisty roads and a somewhat gentle right foot, price you pay for having 400Kw on tap I guess.

got a set of 6" splits all installed in mates FG ute and it all fits in the doors and the rear housings without any problem, the split is installed in the air duct on the dash for both sides, I have a set to install in my ute as soon as the renovations for my house are done.
