  1. Haha, damn you Brad! Oh well, I'm happy mine is safe. Feels so good to drive in anger though, apart from the wife punching me cause I was being stupid on 1pt.

  3. Yeah traction sucks. I have 255 Falkens on the back stretched over 9.5's. Still steps out in 3rd high up..
  4. Yeah.. 245/45 17 is taller than 235/40 18 and 255/35 18. Both stretched.
  5. This will do. Gotta concentrate on the race car now. Going for 600rwhp from a 2L 4cyl.. Daily driver is done haha. 17's are taller than the 18's. Lol.
  6. Afaik it went 690 again tonight to back it up. Fair bit higher temps too.
  7. After around 3 shots we settled on this figure as a safe tune for now.. Figured we shouldn't push the bottom end much further. 344.8 rwkw / 462.4 rwhp. Flat 14psi 11.5 AFR's, dipping to 11.0 up high. Sept 05 BA MK2. 80,000km. Ute. Mods Valvesprings. Bosch 044 external, hard mounted to chassis. Bosch 968 injectors. Rapid V3 Kit, turbosmart 38mm bov, plumbed back. X-Force 4" dump & cat - Mandrel bent 3.5" through to hiflow ss muffler - dumping before the right rear wheel out the side. 12psi actuator, now to get it to hold boost without turbo mod we put a restrictor after the cat. Worked well as it was spiking to 18psi before this. Also quietened the side pipe, which I'm a bid sad about :( NPC 5 phuck brass button clutch. Solid center. And the usual mags, lowered, bout 25mm off the ground at the cat.. Gunna tidy up a few things next week. This was tuned during a dyno comp up here haha. Bit of a 'look what we can do' thing for ProDyno. You can see some epic wheelspin up high. Might get a few more hp without it. Flat line is boost. 14psi. I'll get a video tomorrow when it goes back on. See ya's @ powercruise :D Prob have the sh*tty 17" xr rims on though. Cops suck.

  9. Signing in... Wheels are for sale with adapters to suit falcon. Got put over the pits the other night. 1pt for a year... 18x9.5 starcorps. Front & Rear. 255/35's on the back and 235/40's on the front.
  10. Yeah guys, he drove it to benaraby from gladstone. And is driving the 1.5 hours to rocky tomorrow night for another shot on the dyno.

    Haha wind her up man... Good to meet ya too. Got back to rocky last night, pulled over and sent straight to the pits.... :( Front wheels stickin out Atmo BOV Tinted Taillights Tinted Indicators Fail.
  13. I just asked my tuner today for 470hp/350kw @ the rears so I'm guessing they will run around the 17psi mark. I'll let you know how it goes this arvo....

    Pretty sure the dyno and burnouts are on thursday after work? Cause the boys @ prodyno have a few cars to tune during the day afaik.. I might come down for a look, already entered in the dyno comp on sat/sun @ rocky showgrounds. Is anyone else doing anything to do with motormania?
  15. The lids come painted from EGR afaik. As for bracketing, you mean the sh*tty way the central locking works unless its adjusted perfectly?

Didn't come with cooler brackets and a few of the silicone joiners were the wrong size but got it all together. Massive thanks to the boys @ prodyno.com.au Going in for a tune on monday. So gay, can't drive it all weekend cause can't take it out of car show :(

  22. 4. Put wider rims on the ute or lower it. Both work as a quick fix.
  23. Your auto will be fine if you don't thrash the guts out of it. Dad has 440rwhp through a flashed 4sp auto. No converter, nothing. As for 300kw at the fly, you won't need much. Leave the cat in, remove the center muffler ($100 at exhaust shop max) and use a xcal 3. You won't need injectors either.
  24. Yeah I'd thought about the hard tonneau. But I can't afford to put any more weight over the rear wheels as it is haha. Already too low.. And I'd rather spend the money on go fast bits for my other car :D
  25. Haven't had the rear bar plastic welded yet. Ran outta money haha. I'll get that done next. I thought about removing the soft tonneau lugs but I kinda need the tonneau as I do a few deliveries for mums business. Also heading to powercruise soon and I'll use the tray for tools and sh*t. When it goes on the dyno I'll get a video and I'll take one from drivers perspective as well. I thought about getting the wheels powdercoated white..........
