Nah haven't done that, and I know I should. But imo if I can fix it with $100 its better than $1000.... Gotta stop spending money on the daily haha.

Its a 6 speed manual, only overboosts down low when it ramps up.

Mad, did you see the slicks on the pink rims haha? Ended up using EL falcon steelies. Just fit over brakes and kept the tyre in the guard.

So what about a 1/2" one? You can get them in many sizes. Up to 1" ID

I should also note, I went to a few shops like blackwoods etc. All they had was ones for air compressors at a hefty price of around $300 up to $600 for adjustable ones.... A $100 ebay wastegate would do the job fine, but I don't want something big and ugly sitting there. With a small relief valve I can hide it under the pipework. 1 less thing for the cops to try and ping me for..

Sup, got this idea after talking to dave from mackay about overboosting and some easy ways to fix it. He reccomended a wastegate right before the throttlebody set at whatever psi you desire. This would be ok, I have a 50mm turbosmart gate off the Pigma sitting around but it would be hell heavy and a pain in the ass to fit etc. Then I found these on eBay... 15psi - Circle Seal 500 Series Popoff Relief Valve 559B-4M-15 - eBay (item 260461951399 end time Sep-05-10 19:00:35 PDT) 16.7psi - Circle Seal 500 Series Popoff Relief Valve 532B-1M-16.7 - eBay (item 350236318379 end time Sep-29-10 05:19:12 PDT) I'd be more inclined to use the 16.7 one for my application. Also the smaller 1/8npt inlet would work better. If I was to screw this into my rapid intake pipe right near the throttlebody, would it work how I want it to? Thanks Jeri

Still illegal.. But most won't pick up on them. If you're going to use them, at least use hubcentric adapters. Then the stress isn't on the studs... I had gold hubcentrics behind my rims for 6 months and never got picked up for it. Even got done for rims outside guards and they didn't say sh*t about the adapters.

I drive a T56 to work and back every day, and a T6060 at work every day. The 6060 shift is a lot shorter throw, seems a fair bit notchier as well, but in a good way. You know when its definately in gear. Already had a miner come in today telling me he gets $12,000 off RRP as soon as they come out.. For future reference. Private/Lease/ABN all evens out with Ford. 99% of the time, average joe can buy a car for the same price as bogan who works out at the mines and leases with SG Fleet/Leaseplan etc.

Just got my brakes. Decided I should do something before powercruise. DBA4504 SL and SR. Fronts only. Bendix Ultimate pads F & R. Picked the lot up for $440.. Any special tips? Specific brake fluids etc? Should I do the rear discs at the same time??

Its never had a complete tune lol. Always been bits and pieces here and there. Went up about .7psi. Pretty good result. Top end is richer now too. Nice and fat :D
