  1. I'm on my first set of Invo's and am very impressed with their grip Highly recommended. Sent from my HTC Hero using my right hand
  2. Nitti Invo's 245/40/18 on the rear and Advan A13 245/40/18 on the front. A good combo IMHO. MJ
  3. I got the one's in the first link. After a few tyre changes the coating is wearing off somewhat but still look ok......especially on BF MKII 18" MJ
  4. My AM reception disappeared after I got window tinting on rear window. According to the guy who did my tint this is normal.
  5. I got one of these about 18 months ago and so far so good......and helped me get 345 rwkw. And as JC087 said, it really did save a good deal of hassle.
  6. Thanks for the info man. Much appreciated. Mat
  7. Will A '04 BA rear spoiler fit on a '07 BF MKII? Want to replace the current one due to some slight damage and found a cheap BA spoiler. Cheers, Mat
  8. This is my kind of stuff. Cheers
  9. Get what you pay for eh?? What I did pay for was a tune + xcal1 12 months ago (at going market rate) by a very well known site sponsor - (not my current tuner) that was prepared to dump this bit of kit on poor old unsuspecting me - even though the tuners were well aware (or should have been) of the limited future use of the product sold. To say I am disappointed by this lack of "customer care" is a gross understatement. If I had known at the time of purchase that the xcal1 would not be supported in 12 months there is no way I would have bought this product. I was going to get a new tune put in next month but ..........burnt.
  10. Mine was rattling at any sort of decent volume and was going to replace it because of this. Then discovered sicklaser's post and sure enough the dust cap was loose so I just removed it and now I can enjoy my "premium" sound system once again. I do plan on dynamatting the parcel shelf and probably getting a not-so-expensive sub to replace the weak factory sub in the not so distant future but for the time being this is a good quick fix for me. Cheers, Mat J
  11. Definitely check out Falken FK 452's..........great tyre, great value. Cheers Mat J
  12. Hi guys, Here's a few pics of my engine bay with the AVO crossovers installed. I like the look of it...if I do say so myself. Cheers, Mat J
  13. I got the old SHH SHH SHH but it will disappear if I pull on handbrake slightly then release when driving. Why does this stop the sound??
  14. You could also use hairspray........that's right, hairspray. Spray a thin layer onto the troublesome section of piping then assemble as normal - tighten clamps. Wait about 20 - 30 mins for the hairspray to dry then drive. Should do the trick.
  15. Probably the best option but would like to keep factory airbox. I can feel some trial and ERROR coming on.... Thanks for the ideas.
  16. Yeah, I can dig it. Do you reckon a 3" pipe assembly could fit behind, running from airbox to turbo inlet pipe? That's sort of the idea I had for my system....
  17. I love the look of these coolers on a black car - looks real tough (I could be a bit bias though......). How did you engineer the BOV connection? I'm looking to get rid of my factory crossover too but instead keep the factory airbox setup. I think I need to have a think about it......ouch. Nice job. Inspiring.
  18. I was getting quotes for new rear tyres for for my 18"x8" factory rims. I currently have 245/40/18 all round. I was looking to get 255 on the rear but was told that anything wider than 245 with a profile of 40 or more eg. 255/40/18 or 255/45/18 would be illegal as you cannot increase the rolling diameter past the max recommended width of the rim (245 for 18"x8"). I'm not sure what the max recommended width for a 17"x8" rim but I'm assuming it's probably the same ie. 245. If so, then a 265 will not be legal on a 8" rim anyway, even if a 265/35/17 has a rolling diameter less than a 245/40/17 (going less is legal but not the other way around).
  19. Yeah, I got the pipes powder coated as well and looks great and as you can see from my sig my cooler stayed silver too.... I need to get black joiners though cause I'm not sold on the blue ones - just think they sort of look a bit out of place. Do you know where I can get 'em??
  20. Along with bending the aircon line you probably will have to cut into the front bar to make it sit up high enough to clear the stone guard (assuming that you got the newer 100mm X-1 HDi kit) - I know I had to. I just fitted this kit to my BFII and I think it's a great cooler for the price. Just add RAPID's hot side piping and you will be extra happy..... And you wont need to relocate your horns as the cooler will sit low enough for them to remain as fitted. Enjoy
  21. I changed my cat out for a 100 cpi job and for reasons unknown it definately got a bit louder and sounded alot better under acceleration.
  22. I run the hot side piping too and think it's a worthwhile mod if you got a lazy $300 to spare (but only if you have an after market cooler - doesn't quite fit on stock coolers because the inlet to the cooler is too high).
  23. Nulon 10w-40. I reckon this oil was made for these cars....great match.
  24. Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work I f@#king go....
