I know a couple of guys who have used Precision Motorsport rods, they both were happy with the rods no issues at all and they are a H beam rod. I have bought parts from these guys before, I,ve been told they are wholesalers and buy in bulk that's why they can sell cheap.

I took the car to a diff joint in Melbourne yesterday , the guy took it for a drive and he also seems to think bearings and mentioned wave spacers from Ford, he quoted me between $650 and $1500 to repair, Does this sound like a fair price?

Warranty has run out, I know have 109,000 ks , no whine noise at low speeds

I have a slight wining noise between 90-100kmh, when I back off the noise goes away, I think its the diff, Are diff issues common in the FG? Where's the best place in Melbourne to get it checked out and also not get ripped off?

My ZF went into limp mode 3 times in 2 weeks, stock Fg xr6t, I took it to Ford the ZF IS CACTUS , repaired under warranty, I just drive the car normal.

it did drop back to 3rd with a transmission fault flashing on the dash..

car is stock std no special tune, I have just been told from an ex Ford technician that the problem could be caused by an electrical signal, mobile ph etc.

HI, GUYS help needed with my 2008 xr6t, I was cruising on a 110kmh , when the car all of a sudden went into limp mode, trans error appeared on the dash, I pulled over turned the engine off then on again and now its fine, any suggestions?
