Happened to my F6 a couple of months ago was driving along and out of nowhere bang an egg to the front of my car, it spread all over the rad support under the bonnet and into my air intake took me ages to wash the shyte off, it has damaged the plastic bit that runs across the top of my grill and chipped the leading edge of the bonnet, mate was I pissed.

Awesome vehicle if you can get past your rose coloured glasses. If Fraud didnt have the F6 I would be in one in a flash.

Pretty much get 400km to the tank boosting all over the place and it is my daily driver, 450-500 if I put around but I never bought the car to do that so it doesnt happen much, that's on my 300rwkw tune.

Im with you erko, best thing I ever did with cars was buy my F6. I traded my XR8 that I loved dearly for it but have never second guessed my decision absolutely love my Foon

Can you switch between VCM tune and SCT flash tune? eg have my car tuned by a tuner then change it to one I like in my flash box from a previous tuner

Not necessarily, I think you will find its more the tune not the power, for instance Bruce likes to tune so as the car takes off not spinning the wheels as much, some like to tune to light the tyres up (my personal favourite but costs $$$ frequently) the more power you have obviously will spin tyres but you can ease it up so the car will just get up and boogie, it all has to do with the power ramp rate, actual car setup comes into it alot as well and some people can just drive better.

Aaahh the secrets out RACE FUEL, see its not just about mods but what fuel you can use to extract the kw. Bruce has been tuning race cars for a long time and started tuning the XR Turbos when they very first come out, he has a lot of experience, in no way am I gonna claim he is the best but you also cant say hes an amatuer. The number of cars that come out of HPT is very high and a lot have backed up the numbers on different dynos around adelaide, would be nice if we had a track here in adelaide to race on but we dont so for a lot of us the graph is all we have. For all you unbelievers may we see you soon at a track or dyno day near you.

so it shouldve been in the 10's if you trailered it there, 8 hour drive there - run a couple of 11's - and 8 hour drive home, not bad. That seems to me to back up the 404rwkw then, and then you ran a 438rwkw at the Ford Dyno final at kpm as well, seems to me Bruce knows what he's doing

If you already have an Xcal1 box that you have been using on your car you are fine, your tuner can still use it to tune your car. If you havent got an Xcal1 and you want to tune your you must buy a Xcal3 to do so. Simple really.

My mate uses VCM Suite/HP Tuners for tuning LS Commodores, been toying with the idea of going to him to have a play.

It only had a Herrod twin exhaust and tune when it ran this, but since have had the cat punched and a K&N added with a boost reduction. Difference is? Im no dyno king so dont really know the difference and he also runs a lot of turbos on it, and is pretty comparable to a couple other dynos in Adelaide. Anyways been thinking about getting run up on street tunas mainline, as a few have said HPT's read a little high, no bickie really, thinking about it now I probably should of waited to post it in here until I had smashed it. Hey its a learning experience, As Ive said in my FPV thread its just a number and am looking for a whole lot more in the long run so we'll see where it goes from here.
