  1. I did my front one by heating up the back of the badge using a hairdryer and slowly lever it off with a small flat tip screwdriver.
  2. Yeah finally pushed on to it by a mate lol
  3. Mod bug had bitten years ago for me, want to mod every vehicle in my driveway lol. As for the happy figure, that is why I have said that me and the tuner who is also reasonably known in Adelaide were shocked to see it roll 307 on the dyno, we dont know why it has done this and my tuner (Bruce Hienrich from HPT in Lonsdale) said he hasnt seen one roll more than 285rwkw with stock hardware, the A/F ratio is around the high 12's until about 225kmh where they sneak into the low 13's. Mine had only the exhaust when it did this as well. On the day a well known 400rwkw runner only ran 315rwkw (drives like a freakin grandpa lol so computer had learnt his put put style) so I figure it really can't be too far off, but at the end of the day its only a number, its how fast it actually is than how powerful. Im waiting for the strip to open here (Adelaide) so I can run it, but some traffic light duels Ive had with some also alleged big number cars have also shown me that I am very competitive with proven cars. I know that I will get my knockers but really guys I am not that fussed with numbers but I have a 307rwkw dyno chart so I'll go with that
  4. Hi all, new one to the site, I have a BFII F6 Phoon, I am looking forward to the online help for mine when it comes time to do some more work
  5. Thanks guys, the colour is growing on me everyday, I wanted one in Ego but there was only 3 BF F6's available in SA at the time and this one was a bargain. I am really shocked to have made over 300rwkw with only small mods but there still is plenty more to come. I want a stronger bottom end and a few other bits and pieces to push for 400+ on pump fuel then go for 500+ on NOS
  6. Hi, I had my car 2 days when this happened on a dyno day, out of no where I won my class and the overall on the day, I was not expecting this pulled this the day before on less than useful fuel : read 91 octane from the dealer, I had no idea that's what they put in it. but backed it up 2 weeks later with a 304rwkw on HPT's dyno again.
  7. Hi all, Im new to this forum and thought I better introduce myself, My name is Simon and I drive a 07 BF MkII F6 Typhoon (FOON), it is breeze in colour and has Leather, Steerer, Climate, Premium sound, 19" Dark Argents, Brembos, Ipod connection, Herrod twin catback zorst, a lost cat, K&N filter, Bruce from HPT flash tune and it made 307rwkw which came as quite a shock to myself and Bruce, this came 2 days after picking the car up I upgraded from an AU XR8 that was modded and wow what a difference, I am so hooked on this car I have plenty of work to do over the next year so it should be an exciting ride that's for sure
