Mate, the ZF is an extremely good box and you can't go wrong with it, no matter which way you look at it. At the end of the day though, you have to decide if you want the more "sports carish" feel of a manual, or the more laid back and cruisy feel of the ZF. Don't get me wrong though, the ZF definitely has it's own tuff feel, and has proven itself down the quarter more times then you can poke a stick at. So it's really up to you. Choose your weapon!!

Damn mate, is that a typo or do you just have some seriously low KM's on your car. My FG has already done 25k.... Look forward to checking the beast out when I finally get down to T'ville too.

I've just picked up the FG F6 Instrument Cluster, which pretty much shows you all you need. Keeps the car looking more standard as well. Only issue, is that Ford have to install it, as the car goes into "lockdown" mode and the keys have to be reprogrammed apparently. Cluster cost me $375 delivered from FTG AutoSalvage. There's a few other guys in this place that have the cluster as well.

Ahh, sh!t happens mate. I think everyone tries things they know they shouldn't...all part of the fun of learning. Hopefully she's back, toughened up and ready soon, lookin forward to seeing it on the strip!

speaking of which, wanna send us a price on shortened shocks for my FG mate? SSL all round. Forgot bout getting the springs off ya, but the shocks are still up for grabs! @ Brett. Mine has a slight "raking" look, but it has definitely grown on me. In regards to the SL, I'm pretty sure any kind of non standard height will kill the shocks eventually as they weren't engineered for it.
