Clean Car, No Rain = Photo Time
haha. Yea, kinda wish I went with a tougher looking colour...bit like yours Rootster! lol Been thinking of striping the car too... GT stripe without the cutout, done up in black... would look good with the wheels I think, keep the whole colour scheme going.

Fg Cat Back Exhaust
Hey guys, Been looking at a few Cat Back options for the machine. Just wanted to know if it's ok to put the catback system on without tuning the car at all? Just chasing a better note for the time being, and at a later date (when finances allow) will finish the system off with the dump, cat and tune. I know the cat is the biggest restriction in the exhaust, but every cat back system claims a small power increase. If this is the case, I would only assume that the rear section must also be a bit restrictive, thus by changing this section will slightly increase flow. This should mean it will require a tune right? Any thoughts or experiences, plz post em up! Cheers Cam

Fair enough! What ever blows your hair back I guess! My mate's 30th this weekend, so gonna have a blinder. Then 2 weeks leave ensues so a group of us might be out and about, maybe interstate but we'll see what happens. Be good to get away from this place for a bit!

Cheers mate. I like the Octane, but I come from a smallish town and now there are 3 of them! So I decided that I had to get some new wheels to make it stand out a bit more, and make it more individual. Not my first choice but come up the goods!

Nice figures mate! Looks like a damn decent tune too, no dips or dead spots which is impressive! Moving up for work or leisure?

Some seriously big power alright! Uh oh, movin up to stir up the locals huh acid?! Have to organize a bit of a meet and greet for a few of us up here, have a few beers, talk cars and just sh!t in general. The new drag strip on the tablelands near walkamin is starting to get rolling. The land looks like its organized, just chasing some more members etc. Prolly shouldn't link their site, but if you just google "Springmount Drag Racing" it should be first in the list. Some photos etc up there and a section to sign up and become a member. Fingers crossed it all comes together quickly.

Lowering Fuel Usage

I had the ambient or outside temperature problem as well. Ford said that they replaced the whole left hand mirror assembly (where the sensor is), and it seemed to correct the issue. However, 4months later and it has once again taken a nose dive and is out by up to 10degrees most times. Ford fix = we will change the assembly again...- North And Far North Queenslanders
haha. Yea, I don't intend to do much till christmas now, so hopefully the v3 is out by then. Yea, definitely look into Rapid's stuff as well, they both do some top gear. I'm not really looking at big power (ala yourself), but who knows...once I start playing properly, I may end up there. I'm still a bit hesitant as it's my daily driver, and I sold my old ute a while back so down to just 1 car and the bike...and the bike needs some money spent on it. If I can get someone to buy the bike, then I think I would just go for it and start spending up!- North And Far North Queenslanders
NICE! Pretty much what I'm looking at as well. PW Stage 2 I/C, airbox, battery relocation kit, Exhaust (of some breed), 60lb squirters and a good tune. May need to do some turbo work and actuator as well. Think when I eventually get the gear together, might go see SVS. Hopefully if I mention your name they won't charge me more! lol- Project ZF 1000hp & 9sec
balls are handy, and she'll want to keep em in case she gets clucky! Maybe a second pump as a failsafe? Not sure what the 044 can keep up with flow wise, but I dare say the things gonna be hungry for more!- North And Far North Queenslanders
Yea, I'm watching the other thread about it very closely. Good price and good product, but I'm not sure if it'll be too much overkill...- Project ZF 1000hp & 9sec
But the pink suits your blouse?!- Project ZF 1000hp & 9sec
Hey, if you get it sprayed pink she might forgive you quicker!! Otherwise get some nice cushions for your seat, when she's finished with ya you may need them! lol- Project ZF 1000hp & 9sec
Holy crap mate! What the hell are they doing to it, I think someone found themselves a free work car for the last 2 years...- North And Far North Queenslanders
haha, we'll see. Might have a few other things done to it by then, nothing major though. Cars booked in for next Friday to get the FG F6 dash installed. New Pads & Rotors should be here tomorrow as well. Just trying to hunt down a price on Braided brake lines so I can finish off the job properly. Been racking my brain over an exhaust setup for months now and still can't settle on one...- North And Far North Queenslanders
haha. They might have to sponsor us then!! Would be good if you guys did put them all in. Mines still virtually stock aside from the looks, so mine won't enter. Too ashamed to put it beside John's anyway... hmm, maybe a burnout or two...that could be fun though. - Just Had The 15,000 Kms Service Done. A Few Problems Fixed But Some No
