August 18, 200917 yr #1 Pics of the front swaybar which snapped driving into a low level driveway the other night. Ive heard of them bending and breaking during a crash but not snapping in two like this.I.B.
August 18, 200917 yr #3 WOW! that is dissapointing, serious manufacturing fault! lucky it happened on a driveway, not half way through a high speed turn..was it a really stiff one?
August 18, 200917 yr #5 Author WOW! that is dissapointing, serious manufacturing fault! lucky it happened on a driveway, not half way through a high speed turn..was it a really stiff one? No, just 27mm.I.B.
August 18, 200917 yr #6 Why does that not look like a 27mm whiteline sway bar in some of the images? Strange profile on the bar, and you usually have yellow bushes - I realise there is a massive build up of dirt and grime there, but it just doesn't look like a 27mm Whiteline swaybar?
August 18, 200917 yr #7 In a way I have to agree actually. It looks black where a whiteline swaybar in silver?
August 18, 200917 yr #8 Author I sprayed it black so that Ford wouldnt worry about it. You cant tell unless you measure it then. And the yellow bushes are there somewhere, with 3 years of road grime covering them.I.B.
August 18, 200917 yr #9 Ahhhhhhh ok then. sleeper style. The only prob I see is that you probably wont be able to get warrantee from Whiteline due to it being painted. Probably. Worth a try though. Edited August 18, 200917 yr by Adrian6T
