  2. airbag light could be side airbag connections, if your car has side airbags that is. common, easily fixed problem.

  7. that is a very quick run for a stock manual. sure the car wasnt already tuned when you purchased it? must be a freak otherwise. may as well post up the timeslip mate.

  10. once shes warmed up and the noise is present, remove your pully belt and see if it still persists. this will rule out belt tensioner, a/c etc.
  11. ok goldie, your a mechanic yes? you have steered a guy away from a brand new turbo for only $400 more than a rebuilt s/hander and even recommended a turbo upgrade with ancillaries, and even though he has stated he will cap it at 10psi, whats the point with a 5spd. zero headroom mate. he said he is a "standard well looked after car type of guy". John, if you want more power than your driveline will handle, than it would be cheaper to trade up to a t56 or zf equipped vehicle. as for your turbo,a stock gt35/40 will produce more than your box can handle,and what would you rather have? new or reco? also, you wont need an exhaust to run 10psi, which in my opinion is about the limit of your box.

  13. bloody hard when theres no codes thrown up. might have to do a process of elimination. start with tps and oxy sensors. could be your ecu.

I knew this would happen to your thread mate. somethings not right if you've added hardware since your previous 350rwkw tune only to come up short. pull the new mods off and see if it hits 350 again. hopefully its just a minor setback. to be honest it sounds to me like your being fed bullsh*t from your tuner.
  15. my 08 navara str 4 x 4 does this. when parked reversed up a steep drive it says oil is low on start up then rattles like a bitch. simple fix, I merely roll down the drive without starting the vehicle, once levelled out I then start it. no problem. im still happy with the vehicle. luk77y, this is one disadvantage of the oil pickup placement, but, what happens to the oil when you are going forward full throttle? it heads to the back of the sump. you must have been unlucky with your fords as ive owned an 03 ba-t and now my 08 fg-t and I love these cars. no-one likes someone coming on a ford forum where we are all xr6-t enthusiasts and bagging the things. do you own your vehicle or are you leasing it. sounds like your leasing it to me. you are a prime Late model camira candidate.

  18. generic tunes have been known to cause damage. they love to ping. she does sound overly laggy at 3500rpm but it could just be the tune or the intercooler may not be up to scratch and the ecu is pulling timing out. its all guesswork here,you really need her on a dyno for a good custom tune and that will show if theres any other problems(if any) while there at it. the more hardware you upgrade before the tune the more power youll safely extract from the engine.

I would definately get the tune checked out as it sounds like its a generic. if it is and youve got the cash, I would let hi-torque custom tune it.you should be able to run 15psi depending on your injectors and fuel pump. other issues could arise at that level but kent will let you know anyway. should be a fair bit cheaper than $900 too.also, what intercooler is it?
  20. 60-100 will get you a power run which is usually two runs. the $900 dollars is a custom tune which hopefully you already have.did you get receipts and dyno sheets with the car?
