I think my plugs are going and I want to get new ones. was told the copper ones last less time but the performance one last longer but throw less spark is the true. what you guys using and can it be a DIY job. do I need a special plug remover also anything to watch out for.?

I know its not the best thing but blue tac does work for a while. then it getts sticky and you replace it but I got it in mine and I can open and close it. not the greatist but solves the problem.

I got a few pet hates one is that Chev badge. the Expensive Daewoo guys go on about Aussie mate meat pies and Expensive Daewoo cars with a yank badge on it. I said to my Expensive Daewoo supporter mate if u took a VR to the US and put a chev badge on it someone would ask what the POS is doing behind the badge. another Hate JET PILOT stickers, if u got $1 for every sticker on a POS car with a wa*ker behind the wheel id have a F6 with sun roof and sat nav. kitted excels why dont they spend the few extra $ that they used to get a stereo and kit to get a real car. and they try race me I just stick it in normal auto and take off normal and they hang out and say my car aint bad against a turbo that's when I laugh. and inform them that I did not even know there was a race going. A HQ Expensive Daewoo with a XC cobra bonnet it looked 100% sh*t. and last of all the loser pass. then when a S pack or SS has a go and gets destroyed and then gets upset. they do that im getting in fount as fast as I can flyby. then just go as fast as they can to get away from the shame. that's called the loser pass.

before I had my T I just to have and old mazda and this one time the gouge busted and said I had 1/4 of a tank. so I ran out of fule. I was 200m from the servo so I walked over there and went to get fule. it was the end of the week and I had $10 to my name. went to the servo as I had no fuel can I went to buy one. I was hoping to get one for $5 - $7 and put the rest of the change into the tin. picked up a tin with a $12 tag on it. I said is this right he said that what it says. this is a servo I go to all the time and they had a manager there and a trainee. the guy and girl that are normaly there are great. but were not there I said do you have a tin I can borrow im 200m down the road you can see my car. he said yes we have one I said great can I please use it ill give you my change for the hire. he said I cant I said why here is my wallet I have to come back for it its got my license. and this is ware it got messy he said sorry I cant I said why he said its not that you would steal its that if you but the wrong fuel in the tin you could damage your car and sue us. I said are you f**ing for real I said its petrol. he said its not the point you could sue us I said come on mate in desperate I need to get home. he said sorry mate cant help you and that's when it clicked how BS it has become. no trust no honour. so walked back to my car and this guy asked if I needed a had I said yeah mate I do. told him what happened he lived 10km away he drove me his house we got a tin and came back and got fule. I tryed to give the guy that picked me up the change for his time and troubble but he did not want it. it just goes to show there are still some good people in this world but not meny.

all Expensive Daewoo ever do is put a bigger engine in. what a load of BS 6L to 6.2 and the new VE 427 with a 7L. ford is still pushing 320 out of a 5.4L its not the size its how you use it. and I agree id hate to own a commy there resale value is sh*t compared to ford. every few months there is something new limited editions or specials. they only thing limited is there intelligence

nice. a friend from work is getting a SV6 ute she's a Expensive Daewoo girl and goes on how there friends water pump went in the ford. I told her to make she she keeps her old car so she can get to work when her ute is getting the recalled or fixed. if I was going to get anthing it would be a mazda my old car was a mazda. im not fussed on FWD but they look very nice and drive well and mazda have always been good. I seen the new mazda 3 turbo it would be nice to see a mazda 6 AWD.

gave this a go with my mate and it sounds great. im going to mess with the hole size and im going to make a plug so you can vent it back if need be. and that 1'' was a perfect fit cheers. I will be sending some pics of the connection cheers.

hey grats a welcome. I am keeping mine stock for a bit going to put an exhaust and get a full service so every thing is running right. gauges and some mags then ill look at more performance I have to get use to the car.

id take it mine cost em 22,000 and it had 120,000 when I got it

I am looking to take it for a drag run this sat night. I know the car has rev cut at 5800. but does it have a boost cut? I have strung out first gear and it feels like it hits a wall if you keep the revs at about 4500 for to long is this the cut or is it my spark plugs not being able to handle the boost? also I have a 4 speed auto its going well but can you get it to shift faster I was told a tune can make it shift faster and stop the rev cut. but I dont have that option on my insurance. before I got the car I had a look at specs please correct me if im wrong but BA XR6T pushes 6 psi of boost and the springs and rods wont take more them 280 - 300 KW. its an aug 03 model is anyone here with and XR6T pushing 280 - 300 KW or more on stock springs/rods. I am looking to get a 2.5 inch exhaust from the cats back. is there anything I should look out for before I get the exhaust put on. my last few cars were XF and a mazda I know about engines but not much about turbos or engines with an ECU. Any help would be great cheers.

hey as I am new to this new car stuff I did all the old work on my old car. now I got a new one I think it may be best to leave it up to the pros. so I went to ford and was told that I have to get new plugs and air oil filter that's fair enough. is it true the exhaust manifold needs to be re tightened. and reading some storys I may keep it away from ford as the warranty is not with them anymore. anyone use ultra tune or anything like that. ?

just want to know if this is just me when the car is cold started. or been left for a bit turn the engine starts and sounds like the exhaust hits something. it started one morning like a dog was shaking I thought it was cold. as it was the second day I had it I got out the car it was not the engine it was under the car. I went to get an exhaust quote and put the car up to find. a dint in the muffler. I checked under the car and could not see any pipe hitting any of you guys got any idea what it is. BTW its a BA aug 05 XR6T 4 sp Auto. if that helps in any way.

I got the same from them only a 2.5 inch exhaust each pipe. cant add a panel K&N but I said I want fuel economy and he said give us some filter names and we will get back to you.

Very Very Nice Car. got in my mates pursuit Ute and my god it had alot of power it was violent. thrown back and forth in every shift it was great.
