  1. Machine and new pads solved it for me.
  2. Just in case anyone else is interested I found a pic, this is the motorcycle tie down kit and rope rail kit, which by the look of it and the prices ford were asking were a rip. I will post pics when I have made my own, it will suit what I want and hopefully be a fraction of the price.
  3. Mine is just secured at the front with a ratchet strap to the 2 factory tie down points, it does the job. But the lockable tonneau keeps people out.
  4. Looks great, especially that it is centered, and the ciggy plug remains. Another thing to add to the "to-do" list. The surround is probably the DNA installation kit. Looks identical. http://www.dnaaudio.com.au/blowout_pages.html/whf103.html
  5. Thanks Speedzter that's a great help, are the ends of that crossbar secured in anywhere else or just bolted to the factory tie downs at each end?
  6. My BF ute is lowered, not sure by how much as it was that when I bought it. It seems to have all pedders gear under it, I know with no load and a leaf sprung rear end I am liable to get some bounce, but I have no ride comfort whatsoever. I feel every single bump, harshly. A good set of Bilsteins should help set this right? What are they worth?
  7. Thanks for the replies guys, I am already making side rails and I was going to just make one for the front. I'll be able to make something no problems, was just interested to see how Ford has done it. But if it's crap I'll go with my own design. Thanks again.
  8. I think he is talking about the ones in each of the front corners, and on each side just before the tailgate?? BTW they suck, hence making new ones.
  9. Kevo: Thanks for the reply, but while I am making rope rails for the sides, I am going to make a rail for the front. I was just interested to see how Ford had done the front rail. Tab: ???, ???.
  10. that's awesome! Finishes off the console perfectly.
  11. Anyone have pics of the motorcycle tie down kit that was offered by Ford on BA/BF utes? I am just interested to see how they have done it and what mounting points they used, as I will be making something similar. Thanks guys.
  12. Agreed on this one. How many people do you need to make it worth your while?
  13. That looks really good, well done. I always thought that part of the interior seemed unfinished. More pics would be great, may have to have a go at this.
  14. Ghia: Do you have anymore pics of that?
  15. My noises is identical to yours Strike_lightning, the box "rattles" when the aircon is on, and makes less noise when it is off. I get rattle at really low revs in 1st gear too. Mine has TranzmaxZ in the box, I noticed no change in rattle noise but it did shift a whole lot smoother. Going by what Turbo Vixen said, are these 2 seperate noises, Rollover and throwout bearing, or is it all related to roll over noise?

+1 For Alan Carr method. I laughed at a mate who told me he quit smoking by reading a book, but I read it anyway and haven't smoked in 6 months. Congratulations to all that have quit!
  17. Might head out tonight for a cruise, but won't be until after about 9.
  18. Mine used to be quite clunky going from 2nd to 3rd, after putting Transmax Z in it, it glides a lot smoother. Amazing what difference a decent oil can make.
  19. Spotted a Lambo on the way home today. ERROR!
  20. Thanks all for a great cruise. Look forward to the next one. Julian
  21. I'll be at Belmont at 7:15. Julian
