  1. Cheers dude. +32 will still fill the guards nicely on the rear?
  2. Just need to confirm before I order for FG ute with SSL springs. Front 19 x 9.5 + 25 - 245/35/19 Rear 19 x 10.5 +22 - 275/35/19 Should be all good without rolling the guards?

  4. That sucks, but if nothing is bent or broken underneath you're lucky because tubs are cheaaaaap!
  5. Had the same issue with no-name brand tyres, switched to Kumho's (not the greatest tyres) and this sorted it. Decent tyres make a huge difference.
  6. Mechanical or electrical boost gauge? What type of gauge holder are you using?
  7. There's a guy in the classifieds that wants one...
  8. Still a Falcon in the end and will still depreciate like one. There are a fair few 50's around and always a few for sale, so not that rare. Unless you have a certain combo of body/colour/trans in mind that you want then it might take a little searching. The interiors do look awesome though and they are packed with just about every option available.
  9. If you can get a newer model and year for the price, get it. Better resale in the future being 2 years newer.
  10. Earliest it could expire is 2014
  11. +1. Fit on mine is as good as factory. I got away without having the guards blended, I can't notice a difference between bonnet and fender.
  12. The SS pod just clips in to the factory position. It's the wiring and installing senders that will test you if you don't know what you are doing. It's not the most difficult job to do and there are a few tutorials on here, but save yourself the headache if you aren't 'mechanically minded'.
  13. ^^ True that. I wash mine once a week, twice if a bird sh*ts on it.
  14. I've read through numerous vibration threads but can't find anyone having the same issue. Car is a 2010 FG XR6 Turbo Ute, Auto and coming up just on 50,000kms. The vibration happens for about a second when coming to a stop and the gearbox shifts back a gear. If I do the same stop in neutral the vibration isn't there. This has only just started happening in the past few days. Any ideas?
  15. Took 3 days, dropped it in Monday morning, picked it up Wednesday arvo. They replaced the hinges on the tailgate too as they had started to go rusty. I hadn't noticed, but that was nice of them.
  16. I've used MSR Kustoms at Salisbury and I was more than happy with them.
  17. Put in a set of HPX over the weekend (prior to reading this thread) and the amount of noise from them is stupid. Will chamfer edges and see how that goes. Why don't QFM just do this from factory. I had Bendix GCT before hand, they were silent, but as soon as they got some heat in the them they would grind. Bendix HD next if the HPX don't shutup.
  18. Looks awesome! I went from manual to auto, never looked back.
  19. He gets them custom made, they look good and have extra features over something like Autometer. The price, although expensive, is pretty spot on for what they are. Full sweep electric Autometer gauges can vary between $200 and $250ea when new, so he probably isn't far off the mark. I am pretty sure they are made in the states maybe you can order direct if you can find the supplier?
  20. And I bet they're looking forward to meeting you and your cheque book
