  1. Its normal, just lag on the alternator, they all do it, some even do it if you press the window buttons...
  2. Ergh. Happend on 3 of my computers loading this website, and ITS OUR PROBLEM? Pfft yeh watever.
  3. Some fishing line for the Boot badges, the only one u cant remove is the FORD one in the middle, the Falcon and XR6 T will pull off easy. As for the side skirts they will just peal off, they are soft kind of material, once you pull em off they are f*cked.
  4. If any of you guys buying one wanna sell the 18s for some bigger rims let me know, im after a set for my NA Ghia!
  5. Yeh my fuel guage was f*cked in my BA. They replaced it then the car stank of Petrol and still didnt fix the problem. Glad that cars gone.
  6. and your solution is ??? shazzy ← Look on the previous page. Buff and some decent compound like the stuff 3M uses, if Ford use it in the factory on new cars then its good enough for me.

lolol Paint protection is just some glorified wax they apply to your car and charge you a sh*tload for. Best solution, go buy some good stuff from Autobarn for 30 - 40 bucks and apply it yourself, not only will it get done properly but you'll save yourself a sh*tload of bucks! Make sure you get them to fit tint though!
  8. Argh I knew I shoulda kept that XR6! Looks like ill have to buy another XR sooner then later, unless ofcourse I can bring the new Territory down
  9. Dealers already have them on the floor, any that were sold have already gone out I believe. Theres a Black Ghia at my dealership, that's going to be my next purchase down the track!

The best advice you can give him is to find a decent family court lawyer who can advise him on his rights and where he should go next. He has just as many rights as her, how is is the little girl?
  11. I see a few people here use wool mits to wash their car, that's the first cause of swirling! Use a microfibre mit like the purple ones bowden owns make, they dont scratch the paint like the wool ones and are heaps better then sponges. As for getting rid of the swirls take my advice, applying waxes and other sh*t will get you real excited as they will fill up the scratches and make the car look like new, the only problem is after the next wash it will look sh*t again! Waxing a car is only good if youve actually fixed the swirling to stop it from happening again, its not much good in getting rid of them!
  12. If its anything like my new Territory Ghia to drive it sure will be fun. Will be getting one of these next! How do I open the vid file?

We use the Bigpond with the Sierra Card, not the Bigpond card. THe bigpond card was f*ckED! Wouldnt work anywhere, the Sierra is much better but its more expensive I think.
  14. I just bought a new Territory Ghia, ive had it 2 weeks and it is by far the best car ive owned! Depending on what you want the Territory is a better car then the Explorer, the later Explorers are pretty good but still have a bad reputation because of the original model. The Explorer if your on a budget is very well equiped, but with the budget you have I think ud be pushing it for either, especially if you wanted something in good condition! The cheapest Territorys around are around 30k, most of which are Base model TX RWDs with steal rims etc, very boring!
  15. 3M finish polishes are the only ones to use. MY 04 XR6 Shockwave was like new when I traded it in, not a swirl on it! Use the cutting compound for heavy swirls or the Finish it glaze for light ones, and yes ull need an orbital buff, what do you expect to do with hand rubbing?? To remove them you have to take away some of the clear coat so that's going to mean using something abrasive and hard to do it. Scratch X Is garbish, you get light swirls and it takes away the shine of the paint.

f*ck buying cheap tyres.. They sound good when your buying them, but dont feel to good when your either heading towards a tree at rapid pace or up a gutter. Id rather spend an extra few hundred and get something that may potential save my life or my passengers, not to mention the fact im fussy and like quiet things. Bob Jane are doing the Rossos for that price to btw.

Ergh my Car got damaged while at the dealer yesturday, had to get the left hand weathershield replaced as it was coming unstuck and flapping when driving, they used a screw drive to remove it. The top half of the door frame has to be repainted, along with the the black trim being replaced and a 3rd new weathershild, as I pulled the new one they put on last night off to see how much more damage they did. Id say they wont get much change out of $400 to get it fixed. Very dissapointing.

Apparently the Neros are finished as per why the Rossos are cheaper! I still dont know whether to keep what I have to spend the $1200 in getting something I can trust in the wet and or on cruises Maybe I should just buy a new car with traction stability and LSD, my car has none of those I still think tyres are on the way down in price to, 18 months ago when I was looking they were all in sub $500s for decent brands, must be because theres more and more cars coming out wtih 17 / 18 inch rims, apparently Holdens new VE will have 17s standard which can only mean good things for 17 inch tyre prices and in effect 18s.

Ergh I know what you mean. Some dealers are a complete joke, not to mention Ford CRC themselves. Find a new dealer I say!
  20. There are some serious issues with respect to AU/BA/BFs and rust, but unless you are planning to keep your car for 20 + years I doubt its going to be a huge issue, or ofcourse if its visable then I'd want it fixed. Its still not good enough but I think if you go looking 95% of them will have rust somewhere.
  21. XRBloke replied to Cro's topic in XR6 Turbo
235, its a fair bit more expensive to go for 245s, either way it doesnt bother me providing they are a decent brand and stick in the wet...
  22. XRBloke replied to Cro's topic in XR6 Turbo
Ok Cro Just been down to my Tyre Dealer, I can gert these in 18 inch for about $340 per corner or I can get Pirelli P Zero Rossos for around $360 after $100 bucks cash back, so they are worth around $460 a corner but are on special at the moment. What should I get??
  23. Your only really fooling your self doing that. That 5 grang has got to come form somewhere so it's going on top of the best price you could have negotiated for a phoon anyway. Your only taking from one hand and putting it in the other. ← No your not, your getting the car you want instead of paying for some sh*tbox your not happy with, that's the thing. Why keep putting $1200 a month into the XR6 T when its only losing value anyways, you may aswell be putting that 1200 a month into owning your new Typhoon Sooner then concerntrating on payingout the old on. It would be different if he wasnt already forking out $1200 a month, not to mention the fact that he may well have to spend another $6000 to replace the box in it. At $1200 a month a 65,000 k lease isnt going to cost much more, actually if you do it over 5 years its probarly going to be the same. I live for today, not tomorrow or any other day and if I want something bad enough I will do it. You cant take the bling with you when your 6 foot under.
  24. Simple Solution, Trade your T in for $25 grand and get the dealer to jack the extra 5 k into the new Typhoon. Therefore youll get $30,000 for the XR6 T, pay it out then start a new loan or lease on the new Typhoon, all the difference is going to be is the new ones going to cost another 5 k more, if you look around and get a good deal with some discount then this will be further reduced, probarly only costing you an extra 2 k on top of retail to get yourself into a new Phoon! Live for today, not next year!
  25. XRBloke replied to Cro's topic in XR6 Turbo
Wonder how much a 18 inch is going to cost? Would somewhere in the $300s be a reasonable guess or are they going to be more like 450 - 500 as per the SP9000? I would love to put some decent tyres on my 18 inch wheels but I do very little kms, therefore its hard to chuck away the crap that's on there with only 12,000 kms on the clock!
