That is the connection that goes on some vacuum return valve in the N/A cars, they have the same wiring harness as the turbos, I had the turbo wirnig parts held with elastic bands too hidden under the battery...

my impression was that dry ice was carbon dioxide.... wouldnt you want oxygen coming into your engine?

This is just a guess, so dont hurt me if im wrong... as its a typhoon motor, would it be part of the oil pressure sender unit for the gauges as it seems to be in the same area? I have pics of the wiring harness at home as I have done a turbo conversion from the N/A or an aircon sensor thingy.... ill check when I gets home....

I have done a N/A to turbo conversion with a stall convertor, there is no traction control fitted, so putting the power down is an art, the best tyres I have found are the 245/35/19 yokos but they are too soft for aorund town and wear quickly and cost heaps.. so the car spends most of its time on cheapies I get from contacts .....

my favourite trick is to grab a couple of handfulls of grease and cover the exhuast system.. and then follow the car with friends... after a couple k's the car begins to smoke and the people jump out thinking the car is on fire.... heeee that and a some coat hanger wire on the tailshaft... ker clunk ker clunk ker clunk

I have a spare turbo complete shaft, but it is to suit an auto and im in sydney so I dont know if that helps you at all -
I wanted to but the minster of defence and social affairs was using the car, I hope to do so soon. When is the next time you are going or the group from forums going... ill be in for sure, I have the itch again
