Most autos are run in third on the dyno (well 4 speed ones anyway) as that is the ratio which is closest to 1:1 ratio. Its all a moot point anyway because if the figures are inputed into say a dyno dynamics dyno correctly the shootout mode will make compensations for all of this. I've had back to back run between 3rd & 4th gear in my supra and the difference was about 2-3kw.

BA MK2 has 3.7...:1 which sits pretty much smack bang on 2000rpm.

I got my 275/30/19's for around $300, 245/35/19's were $250 but this was with a wheel package so may have discounted them a bit. The Marangoni's are bloody awesome in the twisty stuff too. Couple times come way too hot into a corner that tightened with a double apex and the car just gripped up and continued round not even a wiggle from the tail.

Few questions: Where are they made? Size of rotors? How easily available are replacement rotors & pads? Know anyone with some Konig Netz rims cos driving to QLD to see if they will fit doesn't sound like fun Thanks is advance

Mate of mine that used to have a sprinter with a quick release wheel, driving down the freeway takes it off & waves it out the window at another mate following. Wasn't quite as funny when it wouldn't go back on so he had to use vice grips to keep the car straight for about 100m.

Eating fruit for breakfast, salad for lunch. Normal dinner. While I'm off studying 5 km walk in the morning, couple of quick weight sessions to break up the day & a 15-20km exercise bike session before dinner. When at work, get plenty of walking through the city so just do the weights & exercise bike session once I get home. Should be at 90kg by the end of July & end goal of 85kg sometime after that. Not drinking at all for over a month has helped alot too.

Well how is everyone else lately. I have been off work studying for exams, which really means I whore forums all day. Also down to 94.7kg from 103.5 a couple months back and feeling great.

semi slicks are for my old Supra not the XR6. 225/50/16's needed. Coon runs 275/30/19's out back and has plenty of grip, only pushing stock power so it doesn't break traction in the dry unless you are dumping the clutch at stupid rpms.

How are you guys finding semis in the wet. Serious question because Sydney this year its probably been wet more days then dry. I'm very happy with the tyres I run currently in both conditions on the ford, but looking at some semi's for my weekend car (225/50/16's). I'd still like to take it out in the wet because for some reason the rain gods find it amusing to bucket down all weekend when I get a chance to drive it. Not many options available in 19's atm for the ford

Banking for me, day to day stuff CBA. $5 a month for an transactional, credit card for transactions with next to no annual fee. No frills card ie small fee to get 55 day interest free period but no rewards crap. Savings account with ING Direct, got it when I started working fulltime. Now actually working there as it paid more then my previous accounting job. Car loan is through GE Capital Finance, and before you call me stupid I stooged them pretty well. They were happy to match my credit union rate & fix it for 5 years at 9.55%. Since then there has been 3-4 rate rises so a mortgage rate is getting pretty close to that. Also have an old savings account with Gateway Credit union (formally CBA Staff Credit Union). Keeping it their until I need a mortgage as they have the best rates around.

Sydney is alot bigger then any of the other capitals travelling 50kms outside the CBD still sees you within the Metropolitan area. Ie the distance I travel to work would see me at my uncle's holiday house in Victor Harbour if I lived in Adelaide. The key to sydney is to not go out in the CBD, sure occasionally its nice, but in general its cr*p, expensive and full of knobs alot of whom are actually tourists. If your not in the CBD you don't deal with the rude, pushy people. Its also about knowing where to go, most interstaters will go to the well known hangouts in the city which will see you dealing with ppl who are there to be seen not enjoy the night. One thing I can't stand about 90% of pubs in Syndey is why they have music cranking so loud you have to shout into someones ear to chat. If I wanted to do that I'd go to a club. Pubs are for a social laid back gathering with mates, I don't want dance/mixes playing. Live band yes, crappy DJ mixes no.
