The speed they are doing is already above the supposed pursuit speed limit so techincally it'd be called off before it started. I don't condone speeding on the road to that extent anyway, but its simple physics if you are already going 220kmph and the cop is trying to start a pursuit from a stand still you are going to be damn near out of site before they start to close on you or perhaps stick the car into D and peel out. As you say more then likely the dude in the Audi crapped himself/had a conscious and just pulled over out of instinct. Clearly they didn't get plates or they would of had cops waiting for the falcon owner as he got home .

I driven a BA MK1 XR8 at the race experience thingo, got back in my car and I swear on the way home my stock T still felt quicker then the stripped out V8. Also raced a MK2 BA XR8 in my na supra and we were still side by side at 100kmph he wasn't too happy. If you wanna go fast the T is the car to get, the V8's sound horn but that's about it.

Yeah it wouldn't of happened if the truck driver was watching what he was doing . There are plenty of accidents where ppl are 100% at fault, I've narrowly avoided a couple of ppl turning right from the left hand lane of a roundabout in front of me & had those accidents occurred I would of had no baring on them what so ever. There are plenty of Ar$e clowns out there that have managed to get a licence and sometimes things just can't be avoided. At the end of the day it all ends in tears but as long as no one gets hurt we move on and build another car.

You talking about the VU or VY SS ute. There was one in the drift event that tank slapped the portable barriers they put on the edge of the track. Was also a KE55 Corolla that did a stupidly large power skid but failed to stop at the end of the straight, ran through the trap along the wall and the car was close to a foot narrower on the passnenger side.

Went down to the gong on friday night for a cruise with a mate in his newly finished mini, aparts from scoring a splatter of kangaroo on the car spotted these. 7-8 Cop cars in maccas 4 highway patrol including unmarked red VE SS & some general duites. Anyone else go. Towards the end of the day this rock up on a trailer. Talking to the owner/driver who had just gotten out of hospital 30 mins before with tags still on bruise few cuts and a broken leg but somehow no neck injuries. Was doing a powerskid on friday and the right rear wheel sheered all the studs off half way up the straight. Have a look at the drivers seat:eek: Studs well and truly snapped Engine moved back just a bit:rolleyes: Some random dude had some footage didn't get a close look but it was a f*cking hard hit and damn lucky not to roll. Excuse the quality of a couple of the pics as they were taken on my mobile because of the surrounding crowd. Easier to use then a digi cam. Got a couple of vids of the power skids but haven't had time to compress them yet. Shame to see the car absolutely totalled you gotta have balls to turn a landrover defender into a drag car. The Blower had a crack through it as well.

Agreed I was at an RBT on friday night & the p-plater behind me had 1 too many ppl in his car. By the looks of things they were working out who was going to drive the extra passenger home rather then fining him.

Last night was driving a mate home, heard plenty of noises of sirens earlier on when we were playing poker. Got to the turnoff from Campbelltown Road to Blaxland road and could see coppers up in the distance. Sitting at the lights waiting to turn right and a fire engine goes round me. And following him up the road he slides it through the next rounabout Get up the road further Wreckers/Metal place across from repco has a D's car out the front and is still smouldering in the yard, wreckers on Bagdally Rd across from the Ford Dealership has the road blocked off and a few fire engines putting out another fire. Then further up the road another wrecker has more fire engines and cop cars fighting another blaze. Gonna be fun getting spare parts for a while . Looks like a damn organised hit too, no sign of the perps in the area. ANyone else see or hear anything about it.
