Heat will destroy your transmission ...best you fit a aftermarket tranny cooler if you want it to last, I had no problems with mine till 330rwkw.

I would say that Adams car would break the national record for the fastest xr6t since he knows so much about his so called killerwatts and being experienced enough to be putting the power down on the dragstrip. that's a fair effort Brian...id say valve springs is unopened in my books, just whether or not it was with pump fuel at a service station. Im also hoping to run a 10 with pump fuel....shell 100 so let us know if the 10.7 was with racefuel or not. Cheers

Hey Micksta, From the power levels that you have given and your stall speed of around the 3grand mark...is very strange that you did not wheelspin half the track using street tyres....your 115 mph is a touch down on those power levels....... I have a ba ute like yourself...2800 stall convertor with 5 kw less than you...and have run 11.3 120 mph with mt/et streets.(1.66 60 ft)...to give you a indication of something similiar. Let us know how you go with it all...just seems a bit weird ...id go out again this time with mt et streets, and you should be seeing a tumble in times.

Sounds like you got too much pressure in it if your wheelspinning I ran 11.3 with 18 psi in the tyres so yeah let some air out of the suckers... and warm up the tyres more on your next run.

On a 6 speed manual.......??????????...great power and very nice curve ......I would of thought that if it was a 6 speed auto and with that power, would then be able to reach mid to low 11's on slicks. I cant see it with a 6 speed manual......

The car has made 530kw through a manual gearbox., and have fitted a C-4/10 three speed with transbrake. they both have the same time of 9.98, not sure if it was 9.981 and so forth so still unclear who holds the title.

I would of asked how old he was, and told him if he wanted to see his next birthday id expect it to be fixed. Stand your ground your age has nothing to do with it...if theres something wrong with your car you would want it fixed accordingly....your the customer . Get a second opinion from a reputable workshop and go back to them with the results. Or just call ford customer service.

Great power 359 that's what I like to see from the stock bottom end... lol gives me motavation to do the same..lol , just be weary those 42lb injectors are pretty much maxed out. id like to throw on the plenum as well....just got the cooler atm.
