Spend the money on a cat first then a new tuner. Ive got 306rwkw with a monza and that wasnt what was holding it back from more. Sure its cheap and nasty but its not the problem for you yet.

Almost a month on now, and turns out that didnt help at all. Its down at the shop for the fourth time now and Im pulling my hair out stressing about it. Flickering of the headlights and ICC has got a lot more pronounced now, and it basically goes into limp mode with a dashboard lightshow on most start ups / within 30 secs.

After spending a while waiting for my fox to be reconnected when I moved I came across the following that I reckon were pretty reasonable. As utterly ridiculous as it sounds I had a very similar problem last week and it turned out to be a O2 sensor. My symptoms were abs light, handbrake light traction light, flickering headlight and limp home mode on the ZF. I have to admit I have no idea why a o2 sensor can cause all those issues, but I took to CV when it happened and they fixed it prety quick for me (Longest part was the wait for the sensor to arrive) Pretty easy thing to change over if your really having trouble - or take a run down there and ask.

Well since the O2 sensors was replaced its been sweet. Of course all this happened right after the warranty was up! (Not that I would really trust ford to touch it anyway)

02 sensor has gone, which of course there is none around anywhere to be had today! Still seems weird it would affect all those other things like the box and abs though, but hell what would I know! Damned new fangled techno machines hehehe

I got mine done at my tuners and it felt great after I had it done (it had done almost 50,000km running a tune) Which is why this was really out of left field when I was driving Ms Daisy!

Gday, Found a set of wheels I want, but they are in 38 offset. (18 by 8.5s) I found some threads with people saying it was close with 35 offset with the 8.5's on the front, but couldnt find anyone who had tried a 38 offset. Anyone know if it will fit with no issues? Cheers

Gday folks, Was driving home from Kanberra tonight, cruise control on - sitting on about 115 for a couple of hundred kms when I had a issue. The headlights flickered a little, then the ABS light and red ! flashed on in the dash for a second while the car gave a little shudder. I turned the cruise off and traction back on, it didnt do anything again after that so was left wondering.....but driving along fine. First time I came to traffic lights 30mins later in Sydney the D indicator for trans started flashing on the dash and it wouldnt change gears (stuck in 5th) I limped around the corner, tryed flicking it thru the gears in perf mode while sitting there and it would only sit in fifth. Turned the car off, checked for leaks etc and couldnt see anything amiss (or smell anything) Turned it on again 10mins later and it seemed to be fine again..............and made it the rest of the way home no issues. I had the trans serviced about 6000kms ago (even with the genuine solid gold stuff) and its always been good. Car has copped a bit at times like last weekends cruise, but it did almost a 1000km since then without anything, and this happening out of the blue in the middle of nowhere has me concerned! Any ideas folks??

Had a poke with one the other night and it was all over by 70 (and really all over).............and his exhuast would have cost more than my total mods bill. Traction wasnt the issue, as even with heaps of spin still no contest. Mines a BF that would be about the same as a tuned FG

Average about 2 a year.............but got tested FOUR times in one night over a space of about 3 hours on a cruise from the shire to city vai lapa. Was a good laugh at the fourth one and I would have been dissapointed if they waved me through!
