FG XR6T Recommended Fuel Pressure With Walbro 460

Hi Guys,

 

I have a '14 FG XR6T Sedan ive just recently purchased a Walbro 460 fuel pump and GFB Fuel Pressure Reg

 

im gonna install pump and fuel pressure reg myself I just want to know what the recommend fuel pressure should be for when I set it myself

 

any other info will be greatly appreciated 

 

car is pretty much stock besides :

Stage 2 Cooler & Piping

4" Turbo Side Intake

Atomic HD Timing Kit

4 bar / 58 psi is the correct fuel pressure, assuming it hasn't been changed previously and tuned for something different

and no car hasnt been tuned, is that 4 bar/58 psi at idle? and I have to go get a gauge but what is standard fuel pressure?

yes, that's at regular atmospheric pressure for any rev level that gives you zero boost or lower... it only rises due to the positive boost level when it is applied.

Is this at idle with vac line connected?

Pretty sure stock base fuel pressure isn't 58psi.

Closer to 45-50psi.

Yeah nah it's 4 bar for the turbo cars

 

Vac line disconnected to set it then back on to run it.
