  1. When does it occur? Only when giving it 'the beans'? Or does just cruising around cause the error to pop up? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

You removed just the control module? Or did you take the solenoids etc out of the trans as well? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. I didn't get a chance to try any second gear launches this weekend just gone (fun day for the Night Speed Drag Wars series I competed in) but was able to get some pretty consistent times. Managed 3 back to back 11.5**'s all at around 121.**MPH. Best was 11.515 @ 121.46MPH with 60' of 1.786. Fastest MPH on the day was 122.22. Feels like the stock 122k old suspension might be letting me down on the launch - although the wheelspin is what probably what saves my driveline haha Had the Mrs drive my XR6T while I drove her XR8 - side by side - epic fun watching your car cruise
  4. Perfect. The LPG plugs are the same as the turbo ones, they just come pre-gapped at 0.7mm. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. What gap are you running? I'm running OEM 0.7mm I think from an LPG motor. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  6. And what is that above it!!?? FGX XR6T is almost 90KG lighter on the nose than the XR8!
  7. I wonder how accurate the roll a dyno's of 8 years ago are compared to today's? @JETURBO out of curiosity, were you able to do a comparison on the same vehicles between your roller Dyno and the hub Dyno? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. Brilliant post - thanks! Haha love those sorts of meetings (sometimes). Very interesting seeing those slips and how the cars perform - especially the 11.29 @ 128.75 - the 60' was terrible @ 2.002 yet the MPH is getting up there! I wouldn't be surprised if that's a 10 second et if he can get that 60' down to a 1.7** That 10.88 must have struggled to get moving as well - that MPH should be a LOW 10! I know it's a different beast altogether, but there's a 2010 GT that runs low (10.3) to mid (10.6) 10's @ 128-130MPH at my track. So I'm surprised to see that the 10.88 above wa
  9. Lol I know who he is and well aware of his credentials. I am just yet to find a 300rwkw full trim falcon that can run times/mph similar to what he is suggesting. Happy to be corrected with slips! Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  10. Lovely. Perhaps a built driveline and full noise launch might get a 300rwkw Falcon down to a low 1.6, high 1.5 60' - but if we're talking about that sort of mods, they're generally more than 300rwkw so not very comparable. Again, feel free to share time slips. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  11. Mate those are very happy figures and would love to see time slips with those claims! My pics attached. This is what a genuine 350rwkw (ok so 346.8rwkw) E85 burning, full weight FGX does. You're a bit off on your kW to mph figures from what I've seen an experienced. There's a few ~480kw full weight 8's over here that are running mid to low 10's and they're 130-133mph. I don't see how a Barra with ~80kw less could keep up? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. What was the mph? With a terrible launch (spinning all through first) the best I could do with 350rwkw and running VERY cheap 235 tyres was a 12.2 with a 60' that I think started with a 2..... MPH was around the same as I get usually of 119. Good tyres would defo get the et down to high 11's. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah I know. I was just making a point that I can leave the line on boost and don't generally have to wait for it to build or kick in Midway through their gear like stock. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  14. I'm leaving on anything up to 10PSI as long as the track will hold it (well could go to I think about 16PSI but that's driveshaft twisting/input shaft breaking territory or it just does a burnout on the line....) - so I generally don't need to wait for boost once I've left. Usually leaving at about 2,800rpm and try and hold 2-4PSI. I feel like if I change early from 1st to 2nd early, the change is quite long and the decceleration jolt as it changes is quite severe.
  15. Genius! Why didn't I think of that! Will try your method on Sunday! Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  16. I had an interesting experience on Friday. The track wasn't there and with small FGX turbo, the torque hits too hard in first and I just spin, even with Mickey Thompson drag radials on (albeit slightly worn). Thought I'd try starting in second. Worked well but felt like it was slipping all through second and a little in third. Not sure I like the idea of starting in second as I imagine it has to slip a little initially and seems to find it hard to lock up.... Anyone else tried launching in second? 17. Would have thought the credits are to you (or whoever owned the car when it was tuned) and/or the physical ECU? Not locked to the tuner's account?
  18. How is the tune unlocked? Is it just a password to unlock? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  19. Just go back to tuner and say that you haven't named them but will name them and share your story and experience with the community and it won't look good for them. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  20. Why won't the tuner unlock it? What was their reasoning? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  21. Talk to PCMTec direct. Explain the situation and they should be able to help. Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
  22. Who was it tuned by? Just get them to unlock it? Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk
