I wonder if they will change the turbo/manifold setup in the next gen :ermm:

They mite shot them selves in the foot if aftermarket mods are limited.

Garret released some compact turbos recently called the "G" series. Two of those will make 1000hp.

It can't be the end of the world to weld a vband where the turbo attaches.

Ohhhh nice, wonder how one of those squeezed in with a gt5533 on a barra would go.

@OZYWALKER should look into it :wwww:

Having those two compounded would be unique to say the least!

Someone say e85

do we know how much timing is in these things at peak boost yet? Highest compression boosted motor would love some of the unicorn juice

I read a yootoob comment on the clip below where Tork reckon they are modding the stock turbos later this year to make 600 each and are shooting for 700 to 1000 hp at the tyres. Also check out the comment regarding how much torque the trans is rated to!

Probably. I haven't had a close look at it all or even a far look but from what I've read they don't seem to be as straight forward to mod as older cars.

Still, ya gotta be pretty happy with 450rwkw+ :wwww:

the main problem freaky is referring to is the fact that the factory turbo is basically molded into the head and exhaust manifold, so there's no room to put in a bigger turbo without some serious modification of both the engine/manifold and/or the engine bay.
