Fg Offsets And Tyre Questions

guys when choosing offsets you needa think about what size tyre u will b using also

those ones have 225/35 on a 9.5" rim, so stretched and can get a finger in between, if he was running a 275 tyre would b close to rubbing the lip if it wasn't (all depending on low) I tuck tyre on 18's so I always needa consider that

and the wheel looks smaller on that pic because of the angle also

but yer jd's looks good because of so much fat tyre, the wheels above have fkn no tyre lawl

I have a 215 tyre on a 9.5 inch rim ?? soo skinny tyre you mean, when I had my white wheels on had 285's !!

More poke and higher wall on jd's wheels atm? The walls on them rotas look pretty small, probably suit the small Lexus car much better

on my car atm they are 18x9.5 -23 so fair bit of poke with a 215/40 tyre

yer I found 18/19's look too small on fg utes.

I got 9.5 inch rears with +30 and I recon it needs more poke. but im happy with it.

what size tyre? do u want poke, or fat tyre ??

ive had 18's and 19's on my car I like the look of both, depends on wheel choice aswell I think and offsets, if smaller and way inside guards wont look great, but if flush will look alot nicer !!

Will probably be going staggered 9.5 and 10.5. Havent chosen tyres yet. Havent even chosen rims lol. Was gonna try get 18" but might end up with 19.

as I stated before work out if u want them to poke and how much because if they poke alot u will never be able to run a fat tyre

if they don't poke as much you will be able to use a wider tyre and always have the choice of spacers !

(im in the process of deciding more poke or a bit less on a new set for this very reason)

yer that's what I was trying to say shy ...yer jds has more tyre wall. lol

215/40 so skinner tyre then "stroller" posted but a little more sidewall, would work out similar height wise !

Two weeks until wheels. Front 20x9 + 15 rears 20x10 +20 :D

Pretty sure your getting the same...been hunting down the offsets for ages. Every shop around brisbane/goldcoast were +38 finally got some drilled to suit what size did you get? I ordered over 6 weeks ago lol

yer jd, what I was trying to say is your wheels look bigger due to the tyre wall/stretch etc. compared to the wheels above that are not stretched but have a very low profile.

im not very good with my words trying to decribe it lawl.

I got 20x8.5 and 20x10

wrong offset for fronts but spacers will do the trick!

and when im done chuck em on sau, some skyline or silvia driver will buy em !
