Fark, I thought I had a speed demon with 2 x 500GB SSDs in my system.

Since I am running windows 10, it literally takes my machine 8 seconds to show the login screen from pressing the power button.

I can just see rab starting his machine in 4.

If I've got fast boot enabled I'm at the login screen by the time the monitor wakes up.

I do love the retina scan on the Surface though (if that's what it's called)
