They're listed at a tad under $215. http://www.crowcams.com.au/FindaProduct/tabid/92/ProdID/15762/VALVE_SPRING.aspx Any feedback on the use of these springs in the XR6T? No spring binding issues or other problems? They give good service? What's the consensus of opinion on the best brand of spring to use? Looking at what you wrote, I realised that the Crow retainers are an extra $170 or thereabouts. Just a tad under $400 for parts. I'll guess that it's not the easiest job to fit them. Cylinders have to be pressurised to stop valves falling into cylinders? So everybody is using the Crow springs? There's no other brands in use? Cylinders have to be pressurised to stop valves falling into cylinders? Essentially, yep. Valve spring tool plus compressor makes it a "relatively" easy but time consuming job (except those pesky rear cylinder ones ) Quote So everybody is using the Crow springs? There's no other brands in use? most seem to use crow. There's various other brands (plazzy/nizzy/PW etc). Shop around if you want.
