So I've gone and ordered a ceramic coated 6 Boost factory position low mount manifold, it should arrive this week.

Got the dump, turbo and manifold out eventually. Stripped a few nuts and bolts but got them out after heating them and using  a smaller socket.

Looks like this at the moment

Should look something like this soon

Plan is to heat wrap the dump and manifold and use turbo beanie to keep temps down.

As for the water line I have ordered some 1/2" to -8 hard line adaptors with -8 teflon braid and hose ends to suit. I haven't seen any pics of anyone using the hard line adapters for the water line so hopefully it all goes together.

Also ordered a stud kit for the manifold, turbo and dump.

If there is anything else I should be looking at to get it all together any input is appreciated.

$4300

Add a day or so if your fitting it yourself or a days labour to fit it.

Worth it if your keeping the ute IMHO. Holds more through corners and doesn't tramp.

One thing to keep in mind is I have it set as high as it goes. You'd have to order taller shocks to get any more height out of it.

I plan on keeping it for a long time. I dont have any problem with tramp but I dont have much trust in the rear end for traction. Looks like a good setup, got me interested in it. Just need to weigh up cost vs gain

I've been daydreaming about tracking down the old thurple money pit and buying bit back as a hand me down for my youngest. That rear end setup would be my first mod if I did.
