Little bit of heat from a jet lighter will soften loctite as well,

Loctite red actually says can not be removed without heat

That housing looks pretty normal for a stock tune they are pretty fat. Loctite is just doin its job and hasn't been heat cycled a thousand times yet so hanging tough. Turbo bolts well.....just one of those things ford cant get right, even after 12 years.

Funny but not funny about the engine stand lol, that's sca gear 4 u.

lol the stand is getting fixed at the moment ,it has 60 mm tubing which is not a common size in Australia . so he is going to make something up for me . how lucky am I ,just as I start the engine change over a new neighbour moves in next door (empty for about one year ) and he is a complete car nut ,like me lol .best thing is he is a ex mechanic with torque wrenches etc . and he drinks bourbon . he has a rx 4 mazda (10. 8 second ) and a HQ in bits .

will see tomorrow what they have done ,anything is better than how it was .

have paid Jamie for all the parts he said I would need . also send the turbo rear housing to him to get ported (Jake got his ute tuned for E 85 ,FG turbo 350 rwkw and 850 nm ) he also send the valve springs back with him so I can fit them . what would be the best way to fix the stuffed thread in the manifold ,just a bigger stud and drill the turbo housing to suit ? or use a heli coil .

Exhaust side, near the gearbox dowl, so essentially the right most corner of block, the face its on faces the front of the car.

It will be dots making digit shapes.

Use wd40 to clean up the flat face - makes it easier to see
