My MTA750 has heaps of horny spool via the s/s dump. Hopefully it will make power too one day, bahaha.

What needs to be modified about the dump to fit a gen2 6466 to an FG?

Obviously block off water lines but that's easy.

Word on the street is the precision sits slightly back more, so a small bit of dump or cat needs to be removed.

So the Precision 6235 has been out for a while now and there seems to be a few people using them, so has anyone has any issues with them?

I'm pretty much set on getting one because I love the response and headroom that it offers however I am always hearing people say that they are 'unreliable' with their ceramic bearings and they are unproven etc etc.

Should I be wary of buying one? If anyone can fill me in on any issues that they have had then that would be awesome.

The new GTW range from Garrett has changed to dual ceramic ball bearing CHRA so if ceramic was a issue id be betting Garrett wouldn't want a part of it.

ceramic bearings are highly desired in some circles

So you don't think there would be any issues reliability wise with the precision compared to the gtx mick?

precisions appear to be a cheap copy from my information, copies are not normally as good but time will tell

That doesn't sound too promising. Which brand are they a copy of?
