The dealer that I got it through couldnt beleive it (car came from some other dealer who did the pre-delivery) and pacific ford at Maroochydore took the car straight in and fixed the problem A.S.A.P, so double thumbs up to them! they bent thenselves over backwards to make sure everything was A-OK. Lucky I am a fitter by trade so I had pinpointed exactly where it was coming from so they knew exactly where to look cause they aint the most uncluttered area where it was leaking. And I have been a Expensive Daewoo man all my life so I made sure they knew how pissed I was and they are getting me a ford shirt signed by winterbottom and richards ( I think they could have done a bit more really) so I guess I should be a little happier Still, for me to change you know that they have to have made a sweet car, and it is, cant wait to give it 100% when she's run in. Apparently I have the latest update, I don't think I do but it works so I am not complaining. Better than listening the same old stupid crap they play 100 times a day on the radio. I had an iPod Touch and it worked fine in the car. Then I got an iPod Classic cause I needed more space and it constantly would freeze. Would list the playlists and tracks in Alphabetical Order and had to constantly reset it, or it wouldn't switch off when I turned the car off and after a while would become flat as but it never leaves the car.Cut a long story short, now I can't get the iPod to work at all in the car. I tried hooking my iPhone up too, and it won't work. The iPhone previously would play in iPod mode, but would always say Information Not Supported on the screen as iPhones don't work with a lot of iPod accessories due to the phone feature.Spoke to my local Ford dealer. They're aware of the issue and are waiting for an update. So for now its back to the old radio until they can fix it. Disconnect you car battery, have a song playing on your ipod with earphones connected only (dont have it plugged into the car), re-connect the car battery, turn on the Radio, select it so it says aux, then re-connect the ipod to the car (with the song still playing). It works for me. (only happens when ive had my ipod connected to my computer) Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8388-apple-ipod-thread-merged-topic/page/41/#findComment-755366 Share on other sites

My local dealer said Ford were working on an update, so hopefully it'll be soon. My iPhone on 2.1(???) firmware just won't play, I keep getting the wonderful message of that player not supported. That an my iPod is a little flaky at best. Maybe not my iPod, maybe the interface. This the bit I just can't figure out, is it the system or the iPod? Surely you should just plug it in and it works?Needless to say, is there a quick way to scroll through a 60gb iPod? Just a tad frustrating waiting for a red light to concentrate on the centre console to find your U2 album, after all those really cool ones in Q, and J, and I, and A Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8388-apple-ipod-thread-merged-topic/page/41/#findComment-762891 Share on other sites
