Used a friends apple 80 Gig (not sure of model name) as well (also about 12 months old) and it worked fine. Both showed all the play lists etc on the screen, navigated and played fine.

Both worked however displayed unsupported. Has anyone connected an ipod which will displayed track information etc and let you navigate from playlist to playlist via the vehicle controls? If so what type of ipod have you used?80gb classic works fine - especially since the dealer upgraded the software - before that I was getting the occasional "freeze". Playlists, Tracks, artists & albums display. Just make sure ICC setting for "full ID3 information" is "on" otherwise you only get the track name appearing on the ICC

drew2229au Member 2 Member For: 17y 11m 24d Posted 07/10/08 10:03 AM Posted 07/10/08 10:03 AM I finally got my new vehicle and couldn't wait to test my iPods. As it turns out my 3G iPhone works perfectly. The 3rd Gen iPod does not work so ever and states its unsupported. My Mini interestingly enough worked the first time. It even display the FORD logo on the iPods display, track info came up and steering wheel controls worked. Today it would not work at all. It charged but it was stuck on pause. Go figure. Has anyone had a similar experience?????
