  1. The issue is the back wheels bouncing off the ground every time you put your foot down. Temporary solution, replace the axle/s. Permanent solution, engineers job at Ford. If they give you any problems covering it under warranty, get them to explain to you how hitting a gutter can bend an axle, but only scratch a rim
  2. Bent axle = common problem but they don't admit to it. It is only ever so slightly bent which causes the disc to touch the pad when rotating. The only way to confirm it is to jack the car up, and put it in gear. Wheel/s will move in and outwards. (yes rims aren't manufactured perfectly.)If the left is bent, then there is a good chance the right is bent. Just get ready for the 'you lost it and hit a gutter' argument!
  3. had it on my white ute. Used everything possible and then gave up. A week later when I washed it, the mark was gone. Advice is: Leave it alone, despite that fact that's its annoying the sh!t out of u
  4. that's the HIM. Replacement on FG isnt bad (passenger foot well). BF/TTory, dash comes out
  5. does anyone know when they started installing the "C" type modules, and also if these cars work with the iphone 4? Maybe Bunna???
  6. He can wait. Till the cheque clears, go have fun in your f6
  7. 3 screws behind the plastic (alloy or carbon look) that sits around the door release. (careful not to snap the plastic while removing it) 1 screw under the plastic insert in the door handle a few screws at the bottom of the door. Pretty sure the rest are plastic clips that will no longer hold properly once you take the door trim off.
  8. The top of the box was cut out to allow more air to flow into the box. (yes some people have the view that it will suck in hot air from the engine bay, but when you accelerating, and moving, the hot air from the engine is being pushed back towards the firewall, and under the car) It’s a 3" pod that fits inside the box without the cut out. I've tried it sealed and open, and it seems to perform better as is. The top half of the air box has a moulded pipe on it which from memory has an ID of 80mm. I ran a PVC pipe that fit inside the factory pipe, sealed it with silicone, and attached the pod. (inside the box is a 25 or 35 degree bend to angle the pod down slightly). I could run a larger pod as there is a lot of room inside the box itself, but I'm happy with the current setup
  9. Had a stalling issue with mine when I first brought it. Stalling and no error codes. Turns out it was a faulty air flow sensor. All fixed after changing it
  10. Hey all. Ive made up a custom intake similar to the SS inductions one. Ive got the XR8 intake and then got a pod inside the air box, with a few extra holes at the front of the box (towards headlight and front LHS fender). Only issue is that when I get up towards 5000rpm through to cut off, theres a high pitched whistle sound, as if its over boosting. Any ideas of what it could be?? Car still has factory tune Thanks
