Boot gas struts being installed over the weekend.

Went to open the boot today. Pressed the button and the boot opened all on it's own. :)

Did not have to lift the boot to get it open. It does however open a bit too fast and shudders at the end of it's travel.

Wish I hadn't been such a scrooge and done this a lot earlier than the past weekend.

Thanks for Stevo for the recommendation of getting them from the gas strut guys on ebay.

Used the paddle shifters for the first time on the tank today and was surprised to learn that it rev matches on downshifts

At first I thought the downshift paddle was not working as my neck did not get snapped off when I tapped it a couple of times coming into a roundabout

That's funny, mine stays shut and I have to lift it, which is safer as they do open awfully fast! B series FTW

Meeting with a client today.. Nice little high rise office overlooking queen street..

Almost his entire staff were not picked because of uni quals and resumes..

Was quite enjoyable..

It pissing down with rain mmfg today, ead fires! Lol

Wpmo, it's so so damn slippery coz ash then water ... Having to short shift every gear, getting loose on moderate throttle at the top of second and third ...

Already had to do some unintentional drift practice to get out of some slippery spots on an apex of a corner I take every day... I took it very easy and still slid out...

Lesson to be on my toes I guess
