Was pretty disappointed that when I got to site I realised I'd managed to not pack my gym shorts...which I found to be rather annoying, given the doctor told me I need to exercise and change my diet. Conveniently though one of my mates flew home yesterday and is flying back up to site tomorrow so he's picking me up a new pair from the shops...hooray! Means I can actually play squash this week

Permanent room, so I'll leave these new shorts up here. I've just put off shopping for separate clothes to leave up here, but will probably do it this break...then I don't have to bring any checked luggage.

I was going to say. Back in my fifo days (on site with perm rooms) the only thing that left site with me was my laptop.

Haha when I left site I washed and hung wet clothes on the cupboard (left the cupboard open).. When I came back they were ready to wear..

Well it's a shared room, in that one of the other geos uses the room while I'm on break, so I can't just leave stuff everywhere. I do need to organise my sh*t a bit more though so I don't need to bring as much back and forth...I hate shopping that much though that I've managed to put it off for 4 years so far...lol
