Fark me Dan, you are having a bad run. wanna swap cars? :P

Dude stick with it. it is the price we pay when we want to play.

Have a hunt around at the wreckers for a front bar if you don't want to pay for a new one. Knowing you, you will want a new one.

New bumper for the xr6t costs $600 alone and then you have to pay for the paint job as well.

Get DRL to replace the fog lights. do we ever use the in Perth. nope.

Headlights should be replaced with something like Steve has. Angel lights. :P

Good luck with what ever you decide.

I know hey! It's like the universe has something against me having a nice car and keeping it that way! Contemplating claiming it on insurance and just get everything done legit.

Attack some other things you want repaired on the car for insurance purposes

I have some surface rust that might get vandalized soon

Like the wheels? Haha.

It's crazy though, it'd pretty much be an entire front end respray, given the bonnet got chipped too and the bumper and lights feel like they've been sand blasted :/

Dan, on the last cruise I kept my distance from Borris for those specific reasons. Chips on the car.

I am actually contemplating getting the whole car plasti dipped at some stage in the near future to protect the paint work for a while.

Yeah my detailer actually reckons the plastidip gloss clear is a decent solution to protect the front of the car.

so keep the standard colour that the car came with from factory and cover it with plastidip gloss clear?

How much will that set you back though?

Yeah that was what he was suggesting. No idea how much it would cost...but I'd have a guess and reckon less than a respray!
