hey guys,

bought my standard auto ba xr6t not long ago, and you know the drill, mates wanna go for a ride etc, theres that 1 bloke who doesnt say too much except ''it goes good for a stocker''. my cars fully optioned, ''its a bang for buck of a car for 13k'' I told him and he says yeah its pretty good. Then BANG!!! 2 weeks later the bastard rocks up to my house, tells me to come outside........ he's sold his 4x4 hilux and bought a 2008 VE GTS black, black leather and hes covered a badge on the boot with his hand and says suprise!! and reveals the 317 badge.

what he doesnt know is that I have a few parts in the boot waiting to be installed that'l make him wish he kept the hilux, with these mods I will probably exceed the power needed to beat him down the 1/4 but what is the minimum to make sure I win?

300kw atw maybe less its all in the tune... Gts's arent that quick anyway lol when mine was on 300rwkw it felt quicker than any gts iv driven

Hahahaha gts are slow get cooler injectors cat and tune and if yours is a auto you should have him back when I had 284rwkw in my auto ba xrt I beat my mates tuned ve r8 clubby at Calder

You can have 350rwkw and still screw it up if you don't drive it right. You need decent back tyres as well, but as said above 300 would eat a GTS. It's 317 Late model camira Kilowatts after all.

reminds me of the late 90s when I had my 1st car x d 351 mild, 9" 3.77,stallie FMX..it looked abit rough and stock as a rock with the standard 15s...and the hero of the hood had a vnss with a 'chip and exhaust' apparently hot items back then LOL...needless to say guess who munched who?? no one would believe me until I took them for a drive

I had a 270rwkw BA from cms and a mate at work has a ve gts and he drove mine and said mine was way quicker and he has since driven my stock G6ET and he said that quicker than the gts as well

I have 317 kw...at the wheels. I have waved as my car walked away from an R8 317 before (he started it), felt like a cheeky mofo. Put at least 4 lengths on him easily and gave up as I'd reached the speed limit.

I reckon if you had about 280rwkw you'd be safe as houses, but better check quarter mile times for a stock 317 Expensive Daewoo against the drag times threads on here to get a better idea.

with that you will pass him like a gemini running and a xr6t..needless to say if you mate lays down a exhaust.otr and tune could be close...
