I'm about to purchase a G6ET and I'm just wondering how important you guys think having an LSD is? Is it a must? Does it not matter?

will you be doing track days or punching it hard out of corners?

taking it down the drag strip?

they actually do alright at the drags, very quick for a large, comfy car

If the car is a daily and you have no intention of using its performance capabilities then an LSD isn't that important but like SHP said, if you plan on taking to the strip, track day or just want traction in general then an LSD is a must.

I've got 360 RWkw and no LSD. Its pretty pointess, I have not used more than 1/2 power in this thing since I bought it . I will put a LSD in when the bush needs replacing.

Do you prefer leaving 11's on the road rather than long single peelers? Haha I'll be converting my G to a LSD soonish as I think >300kw and a single spinner at the drags would be a bit unpredictable

What sort of money are you looking at to stick a TrueTrac in? They seem to be the most popular amongst people upgrading XR6T's or adding one to a G6ET...

I bought mY truetrac for 1200 bucks from memory and installed myself. Love it.

My truetrak cost around $2200 fitted. I had some super pro bushes done too so the labour to fit the bushes was in the 2200.

Straight line there's little difference, it just punching it hard out of corners where the LSD is better

If your pushing well over 300rwkw even factory LSD is sh*t, but honestly totally stock the car is a better all round car as it is
