So if your hose has the clear coat with orange heat shield you have a possible faulty line?

No only if it has the crimp fittings and only some of them leak

Mine has all of the above plus crimped fittings :(

This made me lol. Just because a company has more products on offer, does not make them superior in any way, shape or form...

Speedflow > Earls/AeroFlow/ProFlow/Whatever other china re-branded rubbish is currently out there atm. Speedflow have always been a great product & will continue to get my cash until the day they decline, like all businesses do in this day & age at some point.

+1 for speed flow. Great products and equally good service from the distributors I have used (MSCN and Couplers WA)

Lol my earls line leaks at the filter a bit of Teflon tape and bam all fixed

Pretty hard to see but does that look like a leak or has it melted the clear coat and browned it? It is a earls filter kit off ebay with crimp fittings and clearcoat its only been on the car about 1500km. I had to pull my turbo off again today as we couldn't control boost cause the wastegate wasn't ported well enough and I noticed this :banghead:

it was the end on the turbo and it was covered with the orange heat sleeve they provide...
