January 13, 20188 yr most people in your body mass class, you mean? I doubt I'll ever be able to lift 300kg of dead-lift, even if I tried.
January 13, 20188 yr how often do you see somebody who weighs 76kg at 188cm tall lift 300kg... practically only in competition winning lifts hahaha. Plus, I don't care for powerlifting on the big 3, anyway.
January 13, 20188 yr Haha sumo is cheating ay? I tried it once but I didn't like it so I stick to conventional double overhand. It felt like my hips were going to fall out my arse The dude is a manlet so he has better leverages but it's still gotta feel heavy. Here are some of his programs if anyone is interested in having a gander.
January 13, 20188 yr nah, I don't think it's actually cheating, as the rules allow it. I just don't like the feeling through the muscles and feel like a regular stance activates more muscles. Me being tall and skinny (ectomorph) definitely doesn't help with the lifting and muscle building.
January 13, 20188 yr Yep it just means you gotta be more meticulous with your diet and lifting. That's not really a bad thing cos you will end up taking better care of your body but it does make it harder to be a musculine elephant. Here is an interesting article that discusses the issues that present various height and limb length lifters.
