If you did not have some form of carbs or simple sugar you body will use the protien as a energy source, and not use it to repair your muscle fibres. Gatorade powder works good but Vitargo is super super quick to get into the body as fuel. Also avert good transporter of putting supps into the body quick, use pretty much with anything.
