Classifieds - For Sale Section

Here is your chance to have a say in the direction of the site.

As you may already know we will be upgrading the site to a newer version soon. One of our main concerns is the current classified - for sale sections of the site.

So we are asking you the users of the site what format do you think works best.

The current system, The old standard forum section system or a new untried system that nobody has ssen but is supposed to be a combination of both where sale ad's will come up in 'New Posts'.

I never advertise stuff here because of that silly ticket setup.....the board should be simple and members should be able to ask questions and/or post comments regarding the item/s without mods deleting their posts.

Never look in classifieds these days even out of general interest, due to new format. Preferred old simple thread style and if it's simpler/cheaper for the board to implement, I encourage pissing it off.

Sorry I am confused as to what ticket one you are referring to?

You do not need to lodge a ticket to use the current classifieds system.

The old format poses a few problems in relation to more administrative work for us as moderators.

1. We cannot lock down or limit classifieds as we can with the current system.

2. The old system although not the best (as it had some major problems) enabled advertisements to automatically time out and be removed after a set period of time.
