haha, he was one of the first people I sent it too. I had to it was chipped & damaged from being on & off so many times. that & it was over two years old so it was time for a change

We're also fitting a voltage booster to allow us to run the deutch werks pumps to run at the 17 odd v that they need rather than 12v like they are at the moment which should give us the head room we need to have a crack at 4 figures using an ethanol based fuel rather than havin to switch to c16 but we will do it if necassary.

We're also trying a spark booster to try & help the poor electrical system keep up when we jam 40 psi into it that & it should allow us to pull the gaps out on the plugs , will be interesting to see how it helps.

Have decided to go down a slightly different path with the diff gears. Instead of goin back to the std 2.7's were goin with a set of 3.23's to give us abit more low down response on the, down the track & on the street. Seems a good balance/compramise for what we're lookin for & it'll still work when we eventually have to go to the turbo 400.

what gap u run on the plugs atm, and what type of plug?

there just ngk bkr6e that have been gapped down to .6, we seem to get ok life out of them just with the boost we run it blows out any higher, the road we're goin down is just fixing & finishing the finer things so it's all good & no short cuts have been taken anywhere & we get the most out of it.

Going the shiny coil cover again? only for the shows this time I hope.

Can't wait to see the result of all these goodies getting bolted up and a heap more go juice and boost jammed down it's throat.

Nah can run this cover all day everyday apparently so will try it but if we stuff coils I might look at a carbon fibre one.

As for the boost and juice me too, we're waiting on a set of new type of headbolts from atomic to arrive which the cams will accompany and then we'll look at bumpin the boost up to where it should be. Jaimes gonna touch the tune up for e90 and the zf before powercruise which we're still expecting to see abit of a jump up but won't really know til it happens. Still plenty more fun and stories to write about, haven't even really started breaking anything yet lol

We've got some movement again with the car & it will be ready for powercruise with all the bits & pieces on. Im goin up monday when jamie whacks it back on the dyno for a quick tinker on the dyno before powercruise. We're not goin nuts with the zf tuning yet cause of the unknowns of it all & I dont feel like killin a box this close to p/c, more so about its survival than it goin fast at this point. The engine bay is lookin schmick with all the new bits & pieces but will wait til it gets a good clean up when it makes its way home monday arvo.

Nice one mate, bet your looking forward to PC!!! Good call on waiting till after PC for the ZF tune, think Jamie will need to spend a bit of time on it to ensure it is 100% especially at your power level..
