great results, will be doin my cooler soon, but these mods WILL void powertrain warranty, depending on if ford asks if it is modified which 9 times out of 10 they do for gearbox/engine failures. diffs and diff bushes they never ask because its so common.

These mods has allowed me to do is only because of the factory engine, this may make a difference if you are playing with the BA series engines to stay within parameters and stay legal. But it is a BFII, which to date is the strongest motor build from factory, Cheers

I just went to my mates scrap yard when I fitted my old monza and used aluminium strips so they could bend into shapeand drilled in new bolt holes..lol just if you do drill holes file then out and use touch up paint so theres no bare metal

Hi Mate. What I had to do was drill 2 holes on passenger side for both brackets. Further, both the bottom twist brackets had to be cut down about 10mm and new holes drilled (at intercooler end). When fitting make sure you dont get any rub, as this will impact on the durability of all aluminium components. The power steering cooling fins at the top just need a screw driver to bend the fins away from cooler. I found it easier to undo drivers side light and pull cooler hosing off just under the light. With the horn it is easier just to undo the 2 horns from the bracket and turn them up when putting back on (when finished putting cooler in, then you will not have to bend anything). But just undo them (not the bracket), this way you will not have to move the bracket. Once you have all clearances put a level on it so that she looks the goods. Now I couldn't get it perfect (only 1-2mm out) but once its all back together youll never know. Any probs drop me a line, Cheers

FYI the Bf2 rods and fg rods are EXACTLY the same NO difference what so ever, the Fg XR6t's Turbo is the weak link in the chain, not the bottom end

Therefore if you have a BFII engine you can successfully do these mods without voiding warrantee or insurance I suspect.

I would seriously doubt that.

All of those mods could void your warranty. There's plenty of cases of warranty being voided just for an exhaust mod alone.

Now you just need to align it better so that it sits straight, and in the middle.

Also, spray the top bit black (or put black duct tape as interim step), so the top is not visible through the grill.
